I remember the song that was playing when I had my first kiss, isn’t that crazy. That was such a long time ago, yet I remember. I remember the song I listened to right after I caught a boyfriend cheating on me. It sure did make me want to dig my keys into the side of his four-wheel drive, lol. That’s why I love music, there’s so much emotion behind those words and the beat. I love that I can browse music from my phone in so many different ways. Creating a playlist of my favorite Valentine’s Day songs has been so much fun.
I’ve always loved YouTube really who doesn’t anymore. Browsing videos with my Windows HTC 8X Phone is a easy. It’s one of my most used apps, seems like I’m always on YouTube for something. My children all love it as well. We’re always checking out funny videos, looking for how-to’s, and our favorite is watching videos and listening to music on YouTube. I have several different that I use for music, but it truly all starts with YouTube. I find video’s and create playlists on YouTube, end up really liking the song or remembering that it even existed.
So what is Spotify? It’s an awesome app that allows you to find just about any song you’re looking for. You can browse millions of songs, and create playlists. So whether you’re working, relaxing, or celebrating Valentine’s Day you can make a playlist that is all your own to fit your mood.
I recently created a playlist filled with some fabulous Valentine’s Day songs. First of all, I really love those romantic love songs. Second, I want to spend a nice quite evening with my husband. Since Spotify works nicely with my computer, and my computer works with our stereo system, why wouldn’t I create a playlist for our evening without children.
You have to remember there’s so many other ways to add music to your Windows HTC 8X. You can also take advantage of Zune Software to sync files form your computer to create playlists, add pictures, and videos to take with your where ever you go. With Zune you can sync music, pictures, videos, email, documents with SkyDrive, calendars, and to-do’s. It’s easy to do, and makes life that much easier.
Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it, and I’ve been looking for a few songs to show my wonderful husband how much I love him. Something new, something that brings back memories, and something that screams I LOVE YOU! I wanted to share a few videos I have found while browsing YouTube from my Windows HTC 8X Phone. I hope you enjoy my Valentine’s Day Music Selection:
Shania Twain – You’re Still The One
I’ve always loved this song, and Shania Twain too. It’s a great song for couple that have been though just about everything together.
Aerosmith – I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing
I have to admit it, I have always been a fan of Aerosmith. This song rocks, it’s perfect for expressing how much you love your sweetie and letting them know you don’t want to miss a thing. Every moment is special, especially on Valentine’s Day.
Patsy Cline – Crazy
In my opinion this is one of the greatest classics. She has such a lovely voice and this song is a fabulous addition to any Valentine’s Day playlist.
My Girl – The Temptations
This is an oldie but goodie for sure. Perfect for all you guys out there who are looking for a good song to play for your Valentine.
Plain White T’s – Hey There Delilah
If my name was Delilah I would be in heaven. There’s something about this song that I love. I love the words, and the simplicity of the guitar. It’s no wonder it was rated number 1 for a while. I’m sure there’s plenty of ladies out there with that would agree it’s a great song, too bad my names not Delilah, lol.
Boyz II Men – I’ll Make Love To You
For those of you around when Boys II Men where hot, you might still enjoy this song. I used to jam Boyz II Men all the time, it’s a great song four couples and the perfect way to end the night.
Christina Aguilera – Loving Me 4 Me
I’ve always liked Christina, but her album ‘Stripped’ has to be one of my favorite. She’s so blunt, just says it the way it is. This is a good song that helps explain how intoxicating love can be.
Creed – My Sacrifice
Another one of my favorites, Creed. This song brings back some memories for me, when I listed to it I catch myself on memory lane. This is a great song, I know it’s not for everyone, but I’m sure there is several out there that would agree.
Dixie Chicks – Cowboy Take Me Away
I love this song, there was a time that I didn’t like the Dixie Chicks but this song has always been one of my favorites. What can I say, it’s the cow girl in me.
Goo-Goo Dolls – Iris
I don’t really know what to say, other than this is an awesome song. It’s such an awesome song, that brings back memories.
Beyonce – Crazy In Love ft. JAY Z
The lovely Beyonce has such a powerful voice, the beat to this song is great. It’s definitely a song that makes you want to get up and shake you’re bum bum. Don’t worry, this song is much better than her super bowl appearance.
Kelly Clarkson – A Moment Like This
I’ve always loved Kelly Clarkson. This song pretty much says it all – “Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this.”
Oasis – Wonderwall
I can honestly say this song hold tons of good memories for me. From being young and cruising town, to special times my husband and I have shared. This was my ringtone for him when we first started dating many moons ago. This is and always will be one of my favorite jams, “because maybe you’re gonna be the one that saves me.”
Jewel – I do
I’ve followed Jewel for a long time. It doesn’t matter what kind of music this girls sings she does it well, and you can really feel the message she sends.
Van Morrison – Brown Eyed Girl
Another oldie but goodie. This song is fun, and perfect for any guy with a brown-eyed girl.
Sonny & Cher – I Got You Babe
Who doesn’t like Sonny & Cher. Even if they were before you’re time, it’s extremely likely you’ve heard some of their songs. There’s something about oldies, they really have some great romantic songs.
Randy Travis – For Ever and Ever, Amen
If you haven’t heard this song, take a second and listed to it. I love it, the name should speak for itself.
George Straight – I Cross My Heart
One has to love good old George Straight. This is a great song to let your special someone know you love them.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill – It’s Your Love
Taking your heart and holding it tight, man I love Tim and Faith. Together they are fabulous. This song is amazing, one of my mine and my husbands favorites.
Tim McGraw – She’s My Kind Of Rain
Another fabulous song from old Tim McGraw. Guys if you’re looking for a great song for her, don’t forget about Tim. Ladies, you have to admit Tim’s pretty darn sexy!
While I love YouTube, and am very glad I’m able to browse videos and create a playlist, I’m even more excited that I found Spotify. I have tried listening to music several different ways, and so far Spotify is the way that works for me. I love that everything works together. I can find songs, add them to playlists, jam to them, and more from all my devices. Zune is also a great way to make make playlists.
