5 Of The Many Reasons There is No Place Like Home

by Jenn

I’ve been doing a lot of traveling recently with everything I have had going on with my family.  I love my family, but I can honestly say there is no place like home. I just want to be at home and get back into my normal routine and way of life, and after the holiday seasons we’ll be done going and seeing everyone.  Everything is harder when you’re away from home, from sleeping to using the restroom.  Oh, come on I know there are some of you who feel the same way.  Haha, all I know is there is nothing like being in the privacy of your own home to use the restroom.

5 Reasons There is No Place Like Home5 Of The Many Reasons, There is No Place Like Home

With the holidays sneaking up on us I know I’m not going to be the only person who’s away from home.  Without a doubt many of you will be traveling too, from Thanksgiving until after the New Year we’re always flying here and there trying to see everyone and it never feels like we are home long enough.  I can think of plenty of reasons there is no place like home, but here are my top 5.

  • My husband – I miss seeing my husband every single day.
  • My kids – Gosh, I miss my kids when I am away from home.  I miss them before I even leave, and it doesn’t matter how older they get I still miss them.  Even when they’re in their teenage years, and not the most pleasant people in the world to be around I miss them.
  • My animals- I miss my cute little dogs, puppies, and ducks, I would say my rabbit, but I brought the bunny with me this time, lol.
  • My bed – GOSH, do I miss my bed sleeping isn’t easy while your way from home.  The first few nights are okay, but any more than that and everything starts to bother me.  Gosh, I love my bed!
  • My bathroom – Another thing I totally miss is my bathroom!  Whether it’s taking a hot shower, soaking in the bath, or using the restroom there is nothing like being at home.  HAHA, being at home made me think WAY back to when I was a child, and my dad used to drive home his lunch break just to use the restroom becseu he wouldn’t go at work.  I don’t blame him, but dang driving 25 to 30 minutes one way.  It’s funny, but being at home is much more relaxing and comfortable.  Now that I’m an adult I totally understand why he drove home to use the restroom.  It’s more comfortable, everything you need is there, and it’s home!

Most of the time when using the restroom toilet paper will work just fine, but when you’re away from home that isn’t always the case, which is why I’m loving that Quilted Northern® understands there are times when we need a little something to help us feel totally clean, like tp+™ Cleansing Foam.
