Cajun Pasta

by Jenn

Cajun Pasta gives you a fulfilling dinner with a side of spicy kick. Combining chicken, shrimp, and more makes this a delectable dish.

Cajun Pasta

We went out to eat one weekend to one of our favorite restaurants and I tasted the most delectable pasta, and I knew that I would have to try and remake it to serve up this Valentine’s Day! While I have been on a dessert kick, trying to figure out the best sweets to send with my children to school for their Valentine’s party, I have been trying out different dinner dishes trying to figure out something perfect to serve my honey and kids! The pasta dish that I tried, I knew it would be perfect and I could put a few twists on the dish to make it perfect for my family.

My Cajun Pasta is made with two of my favorite proteins; chicken and shrimp! What says love more than shrimp, and I right?! Along with a few other additions, my family gave this recipe two thumbs up. While this dish is a little on the spicy side, you can add as little or as much cajun seasoning to your chicken, depending on how spicy you truly want it. Without further ado, my Cajun Pasta

  • 2 Cans of fire roasted tomatoes
  • Cajun Spice

This dish is so easy to make! Just follow these simple directions:

  • Start out my preparing your pasta as directed on the package. While that is cooking, season your chicken and shrimp with the cajun spice. Put as much or as little as you wish and set aside. Chop and dice up your onions and Cajun Smoked Sausage and set aside.
  • Place your chicken into a saute pan and cook it until it is 3/4 of the way done. Remove it and let it cool then cut into 1-2″ slices. Add your onion and chicken back to the pan and cook until your onions are translucent. Add in the sausage and shrimp and cook until the shrimp is done. Then add in your pasta and fire roasted tomatoes and stir until well combined.
  • Enjoy!

There you have it! Isn’t my Cajun Pasta so easy to make? Just wait until you take the first bite! For your convenience, you can print out the recipe card below to add it to your collection! If you make this, share it with me on Facebook or Twitter!

This looks really yummy. I wouldn’t have mixed the shrimp with sausage, but it looks yummy. We eat a lot of pasta and I am adding this to the agenda.
