“I received products from Coca-Cola’s 5by20 program; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.”Can you imagine waiting to earn an income but not having access to the needed skills, resources or opportunities? It would make it difficult to provide for you family.
One of my favorite things about traveling is picking up little hand-crafted items along the way. It doesn’t matter if I am taking a road trip or flying on a plane I always check for excellent hand-crafted items to take back home. I think the reason hand-crafted items stick out to me is that I know someone put their hard work into creating that one item. There is no machine that makes copy after copy, it’s someone who put labor in each of my handcrafted items, and that makes them just a little more unique. I get super excited when I learn a piece is crafted by a women entrepreneurs, because the more we support each other, the more we grow.
