REMOVE THAT YUCKY OLD WALLPAPER USING DOWNY® FABRIC CONDITIONER
To remove old wallpaper simply dilute Downy® Fabric Conditioner with water. I usually use an old spray bottle; that is cleaned out and pour half Downy® Fabric Conditioner and half warm water. To remove the wallpaper tear the top layer of wallpaper off a section and spray it will be the Downy® Fabric Conditioner mixture. Let it sit for a minute and peel it off; you might consider using a paintbrush or something to apply the Downy® Fabric Conditioner mixture.
KEEP YOUR HOUSE SMELLING FABULOUS
Why spend all kinds of money on something to make your house smell great when you can just use Downy® Fabric Conditioner, water, and baking soda. Yes, that’s it, and you can save some money every time you go to the store. It doesn’t take a lot of Downy to make this happen either – 2 Cups water, four tablespoons Downy® Fabric Conditioner, and 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder.
CREATE REUSABLE DRYER SHEETS
Did you know you can make your reusable dryer sheets with Downy Fabric Conditioner?
Yes, and all you’ll need is a new sponge or three (so you have a backup), Downy Fabric Conditioner, and water. I always cut my sponge in half, so I have extras ready to go in the dryer all the time. In a medium sized Tupperware container (or something similar with a lid) combine Downy Fabric Conditioner and water. I put about two lids full of water and two lid full of Downy Fabric Conditioner. Place sponges inside the Downy and water mixture and let them soak until you’re ready to use them.
When your next load of laundry goes into the dryer, just grab a sponge, ring it out, and toss it in with your clothing. Another fabulous way to have great smelling clothes and save money.
NO MORE WRINKLES
Combine one part Downy® Fabric Conditioner to ten parts water in a spray bottle to iron with. My sister-n-law does this and gets all the wrinkles out, and her clothing smells amazing. I have never tried it.

Okay, so you might have already known this one, and isn’t exactly a hack. I just think it’s awesome information for anyone not aware of the fact that using Downy® Fabric Conditioner can protect your clothing.
