We have a few family traditions, like every year after the decorations have been put up we will watch Rudolph or Frosty the Snowman and make some yummy Grinch Christmas Punch. It’s awesome family time and has been a family tradition since I was a child. Another tradition we have is giving back to those in need. This year we are a bit tight on funds, but that isn’t going to keep us from donating our time and purchasing products like 7UP, Canada Dry, and Squirt who is donating to The Salvation Army with every purchase this year.
Those are two things that helps put the holidays into full effect for me – an evening together as a family, watching holiday movies, listening to holiday music, decorating and enjoying some yummy Grinch Christmas Punch and giving back in some way. The holidays just wouldn’t be the same without either one of them and they are both traditions I hope my children continue with their families when they are older.
The Grinch Holiday Punch
You’ll need the following ingredients to make the Grinch Holiday Punch:
- 1 can Canada Dry (7.2 ounce can)
- 5-6 scoops lime sherbet
- Whipped topping
- Candy hearts
Follow the below directions to make this tasty holiday drink:
- Combine Canada Dry with sherbet and mix using blender/mixer for about 15 seconds, just long enough so everything is mixed.
- Pour into a glass, add whipped topping and candy hearts.
- Enjoy!
I love the holiday season, but I’m also aware that it is such a busy time and it’s easy to forget what the holiday season is about. Sure, the gifts are great, but the holiday season is about much more than gifts. It’s also about giving. It’s something I try to focus on all year, but especially this time of year because I want my children to remember that giving to those in need is a huge part of the holidays. You don’t always have to give money either, you can give your time or do something as simple as buying certain products that make donations to organizations, like DPSG is doing for The Salvation Army this year.
You can grab All your DPSG products like 7UP, Canada Dry, and Squirt as well as everything else you need to create your own Grinch Holiday Punch from your local Walmart. Plus, did you know that 7UP, Canada Dry, and Squirt and the Salvation Army have a special partnership going this holiday season? Yes, it’s awesome when you head to Walmart and buy specially marked packages of DPSG Core products like Canada Dry, Squirt, and 7UP to help spice up your holiday festivities you’ll also be helping the Salvation Army.
Be sure to stop by and check out the DPSG Pinboard here and their BuyDrinkGive.com website to learn more about their awesome partnership with The Salvation Army.

This recipe sounds great, Jenn! It sounds so helpful for a beginner like me. It hardly needs just 4 ingredients to prepare the grinch holiday punch. And the procedure is also easy.
my kids love the grinch and would love this themed drink!
