In this modern day and age baby products have become more advanced, sleek and reliable. Arc’s InstaTemp is one such digital thermometer that has adjusted to the times. They focus on providing a simple, non-invasive digital temperature read. They are priced well, sleek and focus on quality products. Taking your child’s body temperature has never been simpler. The use of their device is simple with no overly complicated buttons or directions.
InstaTemp is a product that focuses and excels at bringing parents and caregivers peace of mind without the hardship that comes with having a cooperative sick child. Let’s face it sick and cooperative are not words you use in relation to a sick child. I love that it is simple while being technologically advanced. You are able to get a temperature digital read, a simple color coded light guide. A small light will indicate red, out of normal temperature range, orange, slightly out of normal temperature range, and green, for normal body temperature range. It is not difficult to use, just a quick hover over a dry forehead about half an inch away and press of the only button on the device and you get a digital read as well as a colored light. It is very light, comes with a battery that can be used about 7200 times before it stops working and can fit easily in your purse on any trip or in a drawer.
We received an InstaTemp thermometer just in time for the cough and flu season. My son was a bit sick and rather than second guessing how high or low his fever was I could tell right away with the Instatemp thermometer. I love that it is touch-free, simple and quick. It takes but a few seconds to gauge the body’s temperature. My daughter initially thought it was a very cool slim cell phone and was just curious as to what I was doing that I was easily able to get her temperature read without any drama. As any mom who worries this can also come in handy in the middle of the night when you want to check in on them as I did. I wanted to check in on them in the middle of the night, if any fevers had sprung out of nowhere, and I was able to do so without disturbing either one, no bright lights, physical intrusion or sounds and quickly just glancing at the colored light knew they were both in a healthy temperature range. The only drawback I find is that there is no way to replace the battery. The price is fairly low on Amazon that I would not mind buying a new one after a couple of years.
