Reasons to Love Disney Playmation

I don’t know if you heard, but Disney’s Playmation is finally here!  It’s an awesome NEW gaming system that hit the shelves at Toys”R” Us and other retailers on October 4^th, and it’s going to be a HUGE hit with kids of all ages!  Yes, that’s right mom and dad are going to love it too!

Duracell, Toys” R”Us, Hasbro, and even Disney are teaming up to bring an impressive gaming/toy experience to life?  Oh, and when I say awesome, I mean PLAYMATION is AWESOME!  You can watch your child team up with the Avengers to help them battle against Ultron’s armies, or you can join in the fun yourself.  That’s what I like to do, lol.  I mean, I love watching my kids play, but come on mom needs some time to play too!

Playmation is a standalone system that kids will be able to take with them almost anywhere, which makes it great for all the upcoming holiday travel.  It’s not too big and bulky to take along and most important there is no TV required for them to play and they are up and moving it’s super sweet!  Nope, no computers or tablets needed to enjoy Playmation fun and you can seriously burn some calories!

Reasons to Love Disney Playmation

We recently received Disney’s PLAYMATION, which is by far one of the coolest games I have played with my kids in a VERY long time.  I can think of plenty of reasons we love Disney’s PLAYMATION and here are a few of our favorite.

PLAYMATION isn’t a video game

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing video games, as do my children from time to time, but the last thing I want to see is my kids engulfed by video games all day long.  I would much rather see them doing something active.  Well, Disney’s PLAYMATION is the best of both worlds.  It’s almost like a video game, but way cooler because whoever is playing is in the video game.  Yes, that means they run, jump, hide, and train to become better.  My youngest daughter will play PLAYMATION for hours, and let me tell you by the time she is done she is ready for a nap, lol.

There is an app that you’ll defiantly want to download because it’s your direct link to the Avengers Headquarters where you can access the Global Threat Matrix and see where the Avengers need your help the most.  Of course, you can also track your battle states, download more missions to your gear with parents’ permission, and even check in with the Avengers.  It’s awesome, and you can currently grab it on iOS.

Be sure to build your team

YES, you can build your team up, train to become a stronger recruit, and even spar against them.  Be sure to train, train, and train some more because you can unlock a unique ability for your gear once you’ve trained enough.  You can currently build your team with – Capital America, Iron Man, Black Widow, The Hulk, Thor, Marvel’s Falcon, Hulkbuster, War Machine, Super Soldier Captain America, and defeat Ultron and his allies with your Villain Smart Figures and save earth.

Wearable Tech

OMG, Wearable tech is all the rage, right?  Well, this wearable tech is by far the coolest because it puts you in the middle of all the action!  You’ll get to accept onboard missions with help from the one, and only J.A.R.V.I.S.  Be sure to be ready to dodge, sneak and blast your way to the next level.

Great for kids of all ages

My kids LOVE playing Avengers on the PLAYMATION almost as much as my husband and I do, lol.  It’s a game the kids can enjoy playing alone, with a friend, or even their super cool totally hip mom and dad, lol.

Great for those days when the kids are stuck inside

Now that summer is behind us the weather is cooling off, and Disney’s PLAYMATION can help keep the kids active while they are inside.  Mattie and I run, jump and sneak up on the “bad guys” from behind the couch.  Gosh, I feel like I get a better working out playing Avengers on Disney’s PLAYMATION than I do going to the gym, and it’s a lot more fun for the kids and me lol.
