Do you have a favorite homemade granola recipe? There are so many different ways you can make granola, which is great for someone like me because I never get bored or tired of eating homemade granola. If you haven’t made granola for yourself you’re totally missing out because homemade granola, like almost everything else, so much better homemade.
The beauty of making your own granola is that you can customize your granola recipe so it fits your lifestyle. My sister-n-law likes to add coconut, but I am not a huge fan so I leave it out. If you like coconut you can add it to the homemade granola recipe! You can also add just about any fruit you like – raisins, apples, mango, pineapple, apricots, dried cherries, dried blueberries, etc. I also typically add almonds to my granola, but we have also added sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, pecans, and I am sure you could add just about any other nut. Oh, and you can also use maple syrup to make your granola if you like that maple flavor better. Use your imagination, have fun, and enjoy your homemade granola.
I have been making my homemade granola recipes for years. My daughter and I have tried it several different ways, and now we have about five different recipes for granola, and it’s so much tastier, it is super easy and fast to make, it makes your house smell fabulous, and affordable than store-bought granola. Oh, not to mention you can eat is several different ways. My oldest daughter likes to eat it with milk, like cereal, and I like to add a little to my yogurt for breakfast. It makes my breakfast super yummy, and it fills me up so more than if I was to eat only the yogurt.
If you are looking for a super yummy, quick and easy homemade granola recipes you might enjoy this recipe, but remember you can change just about anything you like.

- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup coconut oil (you can also use canola, or butter)
- 2 tsp vanilla

How To Make The Homemade Granola Recipe
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl add oats, dried fruit, and almonds. You can add more or less, or even leave out the dried fruit and almonds. I tend to enjoy them both so will add at least 2 cups of each. Set aside.
Pour oats on a 9 x 13 pan, and bake for 10 minutes. Be sure to check them at about 7 minutes to be sure the edges are not burning.
Remove from oven, allow to cool, and enjoy. I always store mine is large Ziploc baggies.
