As parents we go through all kinds of plateware for our children, some we love, some we hate. Some that is more useful than others. Think Baby is amongst those products trying to rise above others by creating plateware that is free of harmful chemicals. The founder Kevin Brodwick after working with studies on the harm of chemicals decided in 2006 to make products that omitted any harmful chemicals not just the obvious ones. He wanted to avoid not just enough chemicals that they were immediately rendered “safe” but that did not have any BPA, phthalates, nitrosamines, lead, and PVC.in their bottles, plate ware and utensils. They strive to make products that are above all safe but that are also going to stand the test of time for generations to come.

The ThinkBaby plate comes with a suction plate that helps with children that go through the phase of tossing their plate. This plate is different in that it is sustainable and will move through the different phases your child will go through and will even work for an adult. It also comes with a lid that will keep foods warm, covered from pesky flies and easily stored. The release button is easy to use and you can even teach your toddler to cover his food and come back and open the plate themselves. The plate is not small, it has wide sections to allow smaller children to freely grab food and allows for toddlers to have a good open area when learning to use utensils without hitting the outside of the plate and makes it easy to clean. I find it admirable for this company as well to not wait for their products to make headlines before they are recalled but they are continuously testing their products and making sure children are safe. They also make their bottles from materials that can be later recycled.

I received a pink suction plate and found it very useful in its design and style. I typically make breakfast for my son and then for my daughter to make sure it is warm as they don’t wake up at the same time. However, with the suction plate I was able to make her breakfast at the same and kept the perfect fit cover on to keep it warm. I sometimes use a towel or other covering but it was not quite the same. This was a perfect fit and kept the warmth sealed in. I loved the cover feature the most as I also give fruit to my children and have to watch out or cover the food from flies. However, this lid was easy for my kiddos to open themselves and cover backup without hiding it from their view as towels or other coverings typically do. It is also comforting to find that these products are safe for my children and that they are not being exposed to long term harmful chemicals at every meal or snack.
You can find their suction plate in four different shades on their homepage for 19.99 and you can also find their utensils for 5.99 as well as bottles. Shipping for one plate to my area was $7.95 or you can find free shipping on items over $75. Follow them on their Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, pinterest or Youtube.
