Start a list a few weeks before your trip

Planning a trip for just you and your spouse can be enough of a nightmare adding a baby to the mix can be just plan stressful.  To avoid the stress, start a list a few weeks before you plan on leaving so you can add to the list when you think of things, this always helps me make sure I remember everything.

Plan ways to keep baby busy

Before you load up and head out the door be sure and plan a few ways that you can keep your baby busy.  Things like DVD’s, books, music, snacks, toys and more can be helpful because it can get a bit boring in the backseat.

Dress them nice and comfy

When you are traveling with kids of any age be sure to dress them comfortable, it will make the trip much more enjoyable for everyone.

Start packing early

Start packing a few days before you leave for your trip, so you can make sure you get everything.  Don’t forget to use your list and mark items off as you pack them.

Don’t forget your camera

It’s a trip, don’t forget your camera so you can capture all those fun, silly and not so fun moments.  They are all memories and you’ll be glad you have them.

Make sure you have an extra outfit handy

Life happens, in my case it never fails there is always spit up, leaky diapers and more.  To avoid having to dig through everything you packed toss an outfit or two into your baby diaper bag, so you can access them quickly and easily.

I know this is one of the biggest things you’ll be taking along but it’s also something that is easily left and defiantly something you will not want to purchase along the way.  There are some fabulous strollers out there like the Graco Breaze™ Click Connect™ Stroller that makes one-handing folding possible.  Seriously it’s the easiest folding umbrella stroller and it even accepts Graco Click Connect car seat in one easy breeze but secure step.

Tips for Traveling with a Baby this Holiday SeasonThe Breeze™ Click Connect™ Stroller is approved by Mr. Gavin for sure and this stroller will hold him until he is 50 pounds, which is great news for parents.  The last thing we want to do is buy several strollers, right.  The Breaze™ Click Connect™ Stroller is lightweight but you can still trust that it has a sturdy frame for maximum portability.  Oh, and let’s not forget one of Gavin’s and my brother’s favorite things, the multi-position, reclining seat that lays flat for your littles one’s comfort, or fun times.

Gett the Graco Breaze™ Click Connect™ Stroller up and running was a breeze, I promise not neatly as hard as Mattie’s face makes it look lol.  I think Gavin was definitely more confident because he knew an adult was going to handle things.  He just wanted someone to hurry so my brother and him could begin their fun time cruise and give the stroller a good test run, lol.
