Try these Funfetti Skillet Sugar Cookies for yourself. I sure did! I have a love for cast iron skillet dishes, so when I was cooking one night I thought to myself why not try to make cookies in an iron skillet too? I am so glad I did try making them in the cast iron skillet. They turned out very good. They are pretty and oh so delicious.
I did let my daughter help me on these Funfetti Skillet Sugar Cookies. Of course, when sprinkles are involved, kids like to help too. Especially my daughter. She has always wanted sprinkles on her ice cream, cakes, and cookies. Sure, mom lets her. 🙂
Using the red food coloring in this recipe also made my daughter excited. She has a love for food colorings. So much that she think she has to put it in noodles that I make and her eggs. I’m sure that you can imagine what color her eggs are when she makes them. 😉
The baking against the cast iron skillet gives these cookies a better brown crisp. They really turned out better than what I thought that they would. They were easier to make and baking them in the skillet there was no having to wait to make each and every little ball for each cookie. One big cookie, cut into pie pieces is just enough. Each piece that was cut is enough for one person. Each piece is about two big sized regular cookies.
These Funfetti Skillet Sugar Cookies are delicious and smooth in your mouth. Will you be making these for your family? If so, will any of your children be helping you? Come back and let me know if you will be making these and if you did how did they turn out? I love hearing when others have successful baking stories. Most of all have fun!
