We are smoothie lovers, especially healthy smoothies!! We would make them all the time. I kid you not, we were busting out smoothies 4-5 times a week. Just to give you a little history, we have a couple blenders and a juicer, but haven’t been happy with their overall performance or ease of use. My blenders are a pain in my side! They don’t seem to really blend things well and are a hassel to keep clean. Now, my juicer is a different story, it was great for a while, but there are always peels, skins, seeds, you know, all the left over, and it too is a pain to clean up. Due to the extra work, we now only use them a few times a week. Summer is coming and there’s nothing like a cool crisp healthy smoothie! We’ve been looking for something that will make a decent smoothie, without the trouble and came across the NutriBullet!
7 Healthy Benefits That Will Rock Your Healthy Smoothie!
- Juicing helps detoxifies and purify your body.
- Some fruits and vegetables even have cancer fighting properties and can help reverse the cancer process.
- They allow you to consume the recommended fiber and vegetables in your diet.
- Consuming Vegetables, especially liquified, can actually improve your immune system.
- Healthy Smoothies can help reduce your craving for “junk foods”.
- You’ll be able to lose weight.
When we first opened the box we were totally amazed! Not only is this a well designed machine, it came with the NiutriBullet base, 2 different extractors that you can flip upside down to use as cups, lids, 2 different blades for liquid variations, recipes, a nutritional informational guide/recipe booklet containing every thing you need to create healthy drinks & Smoothies.
I love there is also a journal, for those of us who want to lose weight using the NutriBullet, to help keep track of your progress. NutriBullet is smaller than a blender, perfect size for the kitchen counter, and is compact enough so you can take it just about anywhere that has an outlet to plug it in!!
Earlier I had mentioned my blender leaves chunks & my juicer leave peels, bits & ends, well the NutriBullet has a super powerful motor, with specialized extractor that completely breaks down the food for you trouncing skins, stems & seeds maximizing the amount of nutrients you can draw from them, giving you yummy healthy drinks & smoothies, no chunks! This whole process makes it so much easier on your digestive tract.
Honestly all we had to do was fill the mixing cup with any greens, we love spinach, added almonds, banana, berries, a little water, screw on the top then put it on the base. I pushed down and with in 2-3 seconds it was already liquefying my fruits and vegetables. End results was a refreshing tasty redish purple drink that filled me with energy. I shared some with my daughter and I kid you not, we were pumped!! Best of all, I had a healthy, delicious smoothie drink In less than 5 minutes! How well does it actually work you ask? To perfection!! Are the drinks & healthy smoothies created by NutriBullet as healthy as they claim? Absolutely!! The extractor actually provides a higher level of nutritional benefit because you are able to grind up & liquify the most healthiest parts of fruits & vegitables that we normally discard. I can tell you, it’s definitely better & healthier than a blender!
By now, I’m sure you know how happy I am with the NutriBullet!! Clean up is a snap and dishwasher safe! Just being able to make liquidfied protien packed drinks & healthy smoothies, full of fruits, vegitables, greens, nuts, seeds & berries, then to efficiently deliver such nutritious yumminess to my body in less than a minute is wonderful!!

I have never had a smoothie with vegetables and nuts.I have a regular blender that does good to grind up frozen fruit.
I love smoothies, I saw in the photo above that you put almonds in your smoothie, I have never put nuts in my smoothie, that is definitely something that I need to try. Thank you for sharing this great post.
