When do you eat? No, not what time do you have breakfast, lunch, or dinner? Rather, do you eat when you are happy or sad? Do you find that being stressed makes you eat? This past Monday, the infamous Tax Day, I’m sure left many of us reaching for foods that we probably shouldn’t have grabbed. Next time you’re hungry, rather than grab the sugar-laden candy bar or if you do go for the healthy snack and want an alternative from your apple, reach for a KIND ™ Bar.
KIND ™ Healthy Snacks sent me samples of their Nuts & Spices bars to try. These bars are absolutely delicious. At only 4-5g of sugar each, 5-7g of natural protein each, and 5-7g of fiber each, these KIND™ Nuts & Spices bars are a healthy and wholesome snack. These bars are non-GMO and are Gluten-Free. They also contain no sugar alcohols and no trans-fat. They all are low glycemic, have very low sodium, and two of the four from this line are also dairy-free.
The Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan KIND™ bar has a great taste of the dark chocolate with the notes of cinnamon coming through. It is full of pecans and in every bite your mouth is filled with the delicious combination of these three flavors.
Two things I love in life are dark chocolate and sea salt. KIND™ Nuts & Spices bars melted my heart by not only putting together these two loves of mine, but they then took this delicious delight further and added nuts too!!! Voila, the Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt KIND™ bar was born. Yum!
Aah, sweet vanilla. While the vanilla in the Madagascar Vanilla Almond KIND™ bar is subtle, I did notice it. It gave this bar a hint of sweetness that blended nicely with the almonds and other nuts in this bar.
The Cashew & Ginger Spice KIND™ bar was by far my favorite. I love cashews, but I also love ginger. The combination of the two is perfect. Additional spices complement this bar and were noted on my tongue.
I found all four of the Nuts & Spices KIND™ bars to be absolutely yummy! They are a great snack to turn to when you need to curb your hunger. A study was conducted at Yale, which showed that snacking on two KIND™ bars a day helped to suppress a person’s appetite and curb overeating. See, proper snacking can be beneficial.

Our bodies do a lot for us. Each and every day they put up with the wear and tear we put on them. Our bodies are abused and used. It really is time for us to be kind to them. After all, the saying that we are what we eat, it’s truer than you know.

Thanks Rebecca. KIND bars are the bomb! The Nuts & Spices variety is really good. I hope you get a chance to try them. I love that they taste good, are good for you, and like you said, KIND gives back. So by eating KIND bars, you’re doing good too! It’s a win-win!!!
I eat Kind Bars. They are really good. I have one for lunch and they curve my appetite until dinner.
no i dont do enough to keep my body up,trying harder now.
I eat all the time which is why I am overweight. I need to take control of my emotions and eat healthier. The bars sound good and nutritious.
Maria, KIND bars are yummy and they’re good for you too. Deciding to take control is the first step. I knew I needed to make some changes too. It is hard, but it’s very doable and the rewards are priceless!!! You have my support. Start small. Change one little thing that can make a big difference.
