The Baby Cubby Review + Giveaway

Share

Whether I want to admit it or not, my sweet baby girl is a bit of rough and tumble type. She likes to throw, sit on, stand on, and bang on anything within reach. This includes her toys so I am always on a mission to find engaging, yet extremely durable toys for her. This is not always easy with so many different toys on the market. When The Baby Cubby sent me some of their amazing toys to review, I was elated.

Baby Cubby

The Baby Cubby truly believes in making the shopping experience for your baby as pleasant and as simple as possible. They spend hundreds of hours researching different baby products to find the highest rated ones. By doing the work for you, you can spend more time with what matters most, your family. Made up of parents, the team at The Baby Cubby even tests the products themselves so you can feel confident about your purchases.

The store itself is much more than just your run of the mill baby website. With a little browsing you can find everything from toys and bedding to baby care products and items for mom. They also carry a vast selection of top brands including Baby Bjorn, Avent, and Petunia Pickle Bottom. The large variety of items is not the only awesome thing about the website, however. You can also find resources to help guide you in the right direction when it comes to purchasing an item for your baby. Some examples include a stroller buying guide or how to choose the right car seat. The Baby Cubby is very active on social media in order to connect with parents, showcase new products, and offer parenting tips.

The Baby Cubby also believes in making their products affordable since they know how costly a baby can be. They price match any store, including online retailers so you know you are always getting the best deal. They offer free shipping for orders over $49. If you are lucky enough to live near Lindon, Utah, you can visit their brick and mortar store. If you are short on time or the kids are not cooperating, you can take advantage of their drive up shopping. You pull into a stall, give a team member your order, and they bring it right back out to you! How convenient is that?

The toys I had the pleasure of reviewing for The Baby Cubby were Skip Hop Hedgehog AccordianSkip Hop Giraffe Safari Crocodile XylophoneSkip Hop ZOO Pack Little Kid Backpacks and Fat Brain Toys – SpinAgain

Skip Hop Hedgehog Accordian inspires musical play. It has easy to grab handles so babies can easily push and pull to make their own musical sounds. It also has beads that move for teething babies. Designed for ages 6 months and up, it is $15.00. This accordian is adorable and I have never seen a toy similar to it. My little ones pushes and pulls and giggles at the sounds it makes.

The Skip Hop Giraffe Safari Crocodile Xylophone doubles as a pull toy. Made from wood, it has an attached mallet and eight musical notes attached to the back. As you pull it across the floor, the mouth clicks and clacks for even more fun. We loved all of the toys we reviewed, but this was my daughter’s favorite. She loves to bang on it with the mallet (and sometimes with other toys). She is a bit rough with it, but it is so durably made, I don’t worry about her breaking it. Recommended for ages 18 months, it is $25.00.

The Skip Hop Zoo Pack Little Kid Backpack has a whimsical pig design with a room main compartment. We chose the pig, but the other choices include a hedgehog, a unicorn, or a raccoon. The bag has an insulated pouch for snacks and a mesh bottle pocket. I have to admit that this is my favorite.  It is absolutely adorable! I put some of her snacks, small toys, and sippy cup in it when we go out on short errands. It is much cuter and easier to carry around than my big, bulky diaper bag. It is designed for ages 3 and up and it is $19.99.

Baby Cubby

Fat Brain Toys – SpinAgain is not your ordinary stacking toy. It has six brightly colored discs in fun shapes. Babies can stack them in any order they wish and as they place each one on the corkscrew post, it spins down on its own. This toy encourages hand-eye coordination and is made of heavy-duty plastic. The bright colors are visually stimulating for my baby and the spinning action keeps her entertained. Designed for ages 12 months and up, you can find it for $29.95.

I was very impressed with every aspect of The Baby Cubby. With so many wonderful resources and products all in one place, it is an absolute lifesaver for overwhelmed parents! Their products are also top of the line in regards to design and quality. And the best part… they are affordable. You can follow them on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram. You can also check out the Baby Cubby blog and subscribe to their YouTube channel.
