Being a parent is stressful enough without the added worry of finding products for your baby that are practical, durable, and safe. With so many things to consider, shopping for the kids can become an overwhelming experience. bblüv understands this and with a team of young parents, they work to create products that are simple, functional, trendy, and most importantly, safe. New to the United States, bblüv has a large array of items that help make life simpler for parents. Recently, I had the chance to check out some of their newest products and I have to admit, they do make my life easier.
If taking your child’s temperature is a struggle, the Termö 4-in-1 digital thermometer is the perfect solution. With it, you can instantaneously measure body, surface, and room temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius without making contact. It features an audible alarm if the temperature exceeds a normal level along with a color-changing LCD backlit display. This thermometer also has a 32-memory capacity, automatic shutdown, and optional silent mode for middle of the night readings. It comes with the batteries and a carrying case for safe storage. You can find the Termö on the bblüv website for $49.99.
My toddler absolutely hates having her temperature taken. Until now, I have not have any luck finding a non-invasive thermometer that is accurate and reliable, so we have stuck to under-the-arm or rectal thermometers. This meant holding her down and listening to her scream for several minutes, as most thermometers do not work as quickly as they claim. The Termö is a game changer however, and now I don’t have to dread taking her temperature. It works so quickly and it is very easy to use. Since I don’t even have to touch her with it, she sometimes doesn’t even realize I used it. When the kiddos are sick, the Termö makes it simple to keep track of their fevers since it holds so many readings. With this thermometer, you can even check the temperature of your baby’s room in seconds. It is a must-have for any parent!
The Näj is a swim vest designed to help kids learn to swim. Made of neoprene materials with UPF 50+ sun protection, it is soft, warm, and comfortable. This vest features 8 integrated floats that you can remove gradually to reduce buoyancy along with a strap that keeps it securely in place. It is also easy to put on and take off. The vest is available in two sizes: 1-3 years and 3-6 years and it comes in two colors. You can purchase it from the bblüv website for $32.99.
My kids all love the water, so naturally, I taught the older two to swim when they were just toddlers. My youngest however, is not the best student and I am struggling trying to get her to learn. A big part of the problem is that she has always resisted wearing her life jacket because of how bulky it is. When I received the Näj, I could tell it was different right away. It was very lightweight and much softer than any life jacket I have ever seen. She wore the swim vest on our next trip to the pool and she actually wore it willingly. Yay for me!! I haven’t removed any floats yet, but as her swimming skills improve, I will remove some. The Näj will definitely be a lifesaver for teaching her to swim.
Neoprene Protective Water Shoes
With Shöoz, your little one can safely explore the beach, lake, pool, or backyard. Made from neoprene material, the water shoes are lightweight and offer a comfortable fit. The non-slip soles are extremely flexible, yet tough enough to protect feet from shells, rocks, splinters, hot sand, and more. For convenience, the machine washable Shöoz can float to ensure they do not get lost in the water. They are available in four sizes and two colors. You can pick up a pair for just $14.99.
Shöoz are not only adorable, they also keep my little one’s feet safe outdoors. The flexible soles allow her feet to bend naturally, just as if she was barefoot. This is especially important for children learning to walk as it promotes proper foot development. Some swim shoes are a nightmare to put on those little wriggling feet, but not Shöoz. They slip on easily and are soft on the skin. The non-skid soles give me peace of mind when we are poolside since the surface can get pretty slick. I love that they match the swim vest
