*I received product in exchange for my honest opinion*
BooginHead was first produced in 2005 from a working mother. Sari Davidson created the first SippiGrip prototype right in San Ramon, California. She created the SippiGrip when her son was 1, and she couldn’t get him to stop tossing around his sippy cup all over the place and especially on a dirt floor. And here is another parent who couldn’t find the right product that best suited her families needs. After many prototypes, research, and testing, BooginHead LLC was born in September 2007. BooginHead LLC headquarters is located in Issaquah, Washington, and they continue to exceed their products and making new products for parents to make their lives just a bit easier. There is more of a need than a want right now on our market right now, and we need more products that help our families in all different ways. The word BooginHead was a term that Sari and her family came up with when someone was doing something they shouldn’t be. We got to test out 4 products from BooginHead, we got Race Stripe PaciGrip, Poppy Teether Bib, Pop SippiGrip, and Prep SippiGrip.
Our 2 SippiGrip’s have some great features, which is, a unique grip material for a nice strong hold especially on sippy cups, adjustable length, works for all products big or small with the adjustable velcro length, and you can attach it to any type of baby gear as well! You must hand wash the PaciGrip and SippiGrip’s and line dry only. Other great features of the SippiGrip’s is their super cute line of designs and colors! At first it was a bit difficult to figure out how to use the SippiGrip, since there are 2 velcro paths, but where the grip material (rubber line is) you place the rubber facing the inside of the cup (take off the velcro piece already) and once you find the length the sippy cup is, there is a white small circular piece loop the strap through the hole and fasten it to the other velcro part and there you go! Now I used the SippiGrip using a Tommee Tippee Insulated Spout Cup and the BooginHead was just shy of missing the outer edge of the velcro piece. So definitely most cups might not fit if they have a fatter middle. I would love to see BooginHead make the strap longer to fit bigger cups.
Next, we have our Race Stripe PaciGrip holder. Another great product from BooginHead and there are tons of colors to chose from! The PaciGrip can hold any type of pacifiers or small toys or teethers that have small openings or handles. The PaciGrip has a small closed string opening to tie the pacifiers/toys/teethers to one side, while there is a clasp on the other side, that is strong enough to hold onto the clothes but won’t ruin them! The clasp is super strong and a little hard to open but that is the point right? You also have to hand wash the PaciGrip and avoid submerging the clasp, as it can cause erosion or rust, so just a wipe and let it air dry for long lasting use!
Lastly, we got the Poppy Teether Bib. It has 2 snap closures to grow with your child from drooling time to small toddlerhood. The material is super soft and has a type of “silky” texture to it. A great thing about this Teether Bib is because it has a built in tether at the bottom for those teething babies! I personally love the idea of teether bibs, as they act as 2 products all in one! No drool on the floor because the bib will catch the mess while your little one happily munches away on their newfound teether! I do wish there was a bigger size available, as these cute teether bibs are so cool!
Overall, I really love all these great products for all ages, and most can last forever, and for about almost everything! These are really a great game changer for parents looking for newer and cuter options for their little ones!
