Product review for Spikes-Tu tungsten carbide ring.Jewelry isn’t
I was so excited to get this ring for my husband. First of all since we have been married heh as managed to bend/smash two rings. TWO RINGS PEOPLE, he is a mechanic so I guess I can understand. Wait, no I cannot isn’t sterling silver supposed to be strong? Humm, guess not. Either way, I have been on the lookout for the perfect ring for a while now. Oh and it needs to be a Ungsten Carbide mens ring. I don’t want him smashing or bending anymore rings. There is a little more to the storey of the ring, but that’s for another post. Finding the perfect ring for him, that will not bend has been on my mind for some time.
I was snooping around Buy Blue Steel. While on the Buy Blue Steel website, I noticed the Tungsten Carbide ring featuring spikes. HOLY SMOKES BATMAN – that’s it. That’s the ring, without a doubt I knew he would love it! This ring has my husband’s name all over it, perfect I tell you. I have done tons of searching, bouncing around on websites, looking in magazines, and nothing fit as well as this ring. He’s my husband, he’s simple but not really. It’s kind of hard to explain, he thinks he is a simple guy. However, he is the hardest person on earth to shop for, I always spend so much time buying him gifts or planning anything for him. I know what he likes, but that’s not the issue. The issue is finding out what he likes. I was really excited to work with Blue Steel and review this fabulous ring for my amazing husband.
I think that’s my problem, I try too hard. I want everything to be perfect. This year on his birthday, his ring wasn’t there. It was so hard to act as if I didn’t get him anything, lol. I hated to see his sad little face, he puts on a good poker face you know. The day after his birthday, I was so excited to come home from work and give my husband his new Tungsten Carbide ring.
Just as I thought, HE LOVED IT! He loved it so much, he wrote the review for it. I mean it only seems right, doesn’t it? He’s wearing it, he would know the most about it! So, everyone, he’s another review from my wonderful, amazing, one of a kind, husband that I love with all my heart more and more every single day. Okay, enough with the mushy stuff. Sorry guys,
Jewelry isn’t exactly my strong point when it comes to style or fashion, I have always been a plain sterling silver kind of guy. Given the field I work in sterling didn’t hold up very well with all of the heavy lifting the, solvents and the occasional battery arch. Sterling silver fades rather quickly in those conditions and in my opinion if it’s supposed to be sparkly and shiny, it should be with little effort.
The durability of sterling silver is not that great either. Now if you work in an office or somewhere that does not require you to lift more than a pen or brief case you’re probably not too worried about the strength of your rings. I do lift heavy objects all day and have had my hand smashed, ruining at least two wedding rings. Then I found out about Tungsten Carbide. Ever heard of it? It happens to be one of the hardest substances known to man it is off the charts strong.
My beautiful wife Jenn was tired of me smashing my wedding rings and replacing them all of the time so she got online and found the most awesome men’s wedding ring I have ever seen. Dude it has SPIKES not big ole rip your eye out spikes but, small proportionate Tungsten Carbide spikes. Yea that’s right my lady got me a wedding ring with spikes! SHE ROCKS! The spikes are not the only thing that makes it awesome. The next cool feature is that it is made of Tungsten Carbide, member what that is? Only one of the hardest substances known to man, so that means no more smashed wedding rings for this guy and no more splaining to my wife why I’m not wearing my ring.
I would like to know how they make these indestructible rings, you know since they are made of one of the hardest substances known to man. My Spikes-Tu Tungsten Carbide ring is a sharp ring in more ways than one it’s the first tungsten ring that I have seen that is polished to an almost mirror like shine and is definitely an eye catcher. In the three weeks I have had it I have gotten more compliments on it than I ever got with my old sterling ring. I had no idea that people paid attention to that sort of thing. I wear my ring almost all the time, I usually only take it off to cook or to shower so needless to say it goes through a lot and looking at it right now there is not one scratch, nick or dent anywhere on it even the spikes are still sharp. I just noticed it was kind of dull so I took my shirt tail and polished it up nice and clean.
See a Spikes-Tu Tungsten Carbide ring would be a great investment for any guy, they look great or should I say tough. They are strong and durable and super easy to take care of. They don’t get scratches or dents or dings and they don’t tarnish or fade. What more could a dude ask for in a ring!

I think it is hard to find interesting rings for men to wear. I know my nephew would not wear this ring. He does not like to wear jewelry. But I can see that it looks really nice on your husband. I think the ring looks cool!

It was great reading the double review. I understand about smashing rings, though it’s usually me that ends up with bent rings! (That is why my husband gave me a wedding ring in 10k gold and so far it holds)
I have heard of Blue Steel and have done some looking on their site. I really appreciate a man’s view on this as I’ve been looking for a good ring for my husband. The one he has now, has softened over time and resembles more of an oval. Now to find just the right one – as I too have the same predicament with getting gifts for my husband as you do for yours, Jenny.

Great review by you and your hubby! My daughter’s fiance would love that ring. He’s an EMT so he doesn’t do anything to damage the ring he wears now. My daughter got him a ring so he’d get used to wearing a ring. He’s not a jewelry wearing type guy. I know this would be something he’d like for sure. The spikes are really cool. Anytime I see spikes I think of KISS. I don’t like the band anymore but they always had spikes on something.LOL! I’m going to have to check this website out. Thanks 🙂
The ring isn’t my style. It is a nice mens ring though.My concern would be the spikes. I have to tape my rings to keep them on. I cut my skin on the tape when I wash my face.

I had the opposite problem! I knocked the diamin out of my ring 3 times before I stopped wearing it to work and eventually lost it. I always felt so bad. I hope that ring is the trick for your hubby.

OMGoash!! My husband is a mechanic too! He has gone through 3 rings! The one he has now he just carry’s on his keyring because it’s so bent that it hurts his finger to wear it!! I need one of these! 🙂

Makes for a trong marriage, much like the rings of Blue Steel. I think the Tungsten rings are made to withstand years and years of wear. My husband was very hard on his rings too. Unfortunately, he passed many years ago and he never got a Tungsten ring but I still have his battered and beat up 14K ring I bought him. god bless you and your hubby. Jewelry is that extra something that enhances your look. It makes a personal statement of your style and taste. I love the look of the ring in the picture. I like the intricate details and the unsual design. It does look like it was designed for a masculine hand but, I’m sure that all eyes are drawn to any hand that wears it.
My Hubs would not like the spikes, he’s more into the black tungsten bands. But I guess that’s why they make them all different everyone likes something different

That was a beautiful story my husband would kill himself with any sort of spikes he would scratch his eyes ears anything lol he is very clumsy he would probably even scratch me!! but I am glad you found the right ring for your soul mate!

That ring is so cool.My dog had a collar like that. It drives my daughter in law nuts because my son will not wear a wedding ring. He works in manufacturing and at times has his hands in machines where a ring could be dangerous. I can see many men loving that ring!
