Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) some of you probably already know, is the main psychoactive cannabinoid if found in cannabis. It’s what gives people the sensation of getting “high” when smoking marijuana. While THC is a psychoactive cannabinoid it’s important to remember CBD is not physhocative, meaning you won’t get “high”.

So what about the benefits of cooking with CBD oil? Are there any?
Sure, there are some great benefits to cooking with CBD oil.
of all it’s nice to get a change of pace when taking your dose of CBD and cooking with CBD is a great way to add a little change to your life. If CBD is ingested it’s has a slower onset and less bioavailable ity so it’s most likely to have a more mild affect than say vaping.
How to infuse my food with CBD Oil
If you have been wondering how to influence your own food using CBD oil you’ll be glad to hear that it is rather easy. First you’ll want to choose which form of CBD oil you’ll be using – CBD oil, CBD isolate or shatter. CBD isolate and shatter are the purest forms of CBD oil and it’s easy to add to your food. Since CBD isolate comes in a powder form all you do is sprinkle some in with your good.
Be careful and pay attention to the temperature
It’s important that you know cannabinoids are sensitive to heat as well as light. You want to limit their exposure by not being exposed to a direct flame and try cooking or baking things at the lowest temperature possible.
Great with fat or oil-based ingredients
If you decide to cook with CBD oil, consider things like butter, shortening, oils, and lard so the CBD oil has something it can infuse too.

Start with easy recipes
Like with anything, it’s easier to learn by starting small and working your way forward. You have to be careful not to over use CBD oil when cooking. If you use too much CBD oil you will taste it in your dish.
Try sweet recipes to begin with
You don’t have to make your edibles with sweet treats but there isn’t anything better than an awesome brownie recipe, right? Well, turning those brownies into Keto CBD Brownies is just as sweet and it’s a good starting point.
Don’t wait until the last minute to add CBD to your recipes
Remember CBD oils cook so you probably don’t want to drizzle it on top of your pasta or salad. When you mix your oils and allow them to cook is when the magic begins to blend and make the flavor.
If CBD Oil sounds like something you want to buy CBD, so it’s a jaroe it in-stores or online!
