In almost any conversation between two people, at some point, you will eventually end up talking about your health and welfare. Everywhere you turn, you see and hear advertisements on radio and television about a new exercise routine and diet supplements, all in an effort to lead to a healthier lifestyle. Recently, I received a box from the Conscious Box containing a variety of different products on the market that will assist you in maintaining a healthier lifestyle through products you utilize in your daily living, which are caffeine free and organic. I received this box for review purposes only. I had the privilege of reviewing several different items and will elaborate on most of them.
The Conscious Box Company is devoted to introduce you to the most sustainable and purest products on the market. By making smarter choices in your daily shopping practices, you can learn to live a healthier lifestyle. To learn more about how Conscious Box can help, check out their mission statement.
I received my package from ConsciousBox.com in a neatly arranged manner.
The Conscious Box was filled to the brim with all sorts of nifty products.
The package contained the following items: Wheatgrass Boost, Smarty Pants Vitamins for grownups and kids, Stash organic – caffeine free herbal tea, Zarbee’s All-Natural Cough Syrup, Runa focused energy – cinnamon-lemongrass guayusa tea, Nektar Honey Crystals, Kelapo Virgin Coconut Oil, tera’swhey, Yummy Earth sucker, Emily Super Dry Skin Soother, and Cheeky Salve Face and Lip Balm.
To begin my review, I tried the Emily Super Dry Skin Soother, as my hands are always in need of some type of lotion to relieve the dryness. The directions indicate to apply a thin layer on the affected area. Just a little of the Soother goes a long way, and has a nice pleasant fragrance to it. Personally, I like the small container as it easily fits into my purse or pocket whenever the need arises. This product is made of all natural products and powered by herbs. The Emily Dry Skin Soother left my dry hands feeling soft and most importantly, nongreasy.
I also applied the Cheeky Salve to my lips. This is a Babytime product by Episencial. Although, the Cheeky Salve is geared more for babies than adults, I found that the Cheeky Salve protected my lips from the sun and water and air. The small container is also perfect to fit in any pocket.
A little of the Cheeky Salve goes a long way.
My husband is a firm believer in energy drinks, so he tried the Wheatgrass Boost. A liquid dietary supplement, the Wheatgrass Boost is gluten free to those individuals who are conscious about products that contain gluten. For a 3 fluid ounce bottle, the label states that for adults, one can take this supplement daily, or as needed. This product is gluten free and is 100% pure juice. In addition, the Wheatgrass Boost is very low in sodium at only 5 mg per serving. He definitely had more energy after consuming this supplement.
I also tried the tera’swhey – organic whey protein. The envelope that was provided to me was the plain whey, unflavored, and unsweetened. This product is intended for use with either water, milk, or your favorite juice. I made my shake with milk. Next time I am going to try my favorite fruit or fruit juice added. This whey product was made from small local cheese plants in Wisconsin. I will admit that I had more energy after consuming the tera’swhey shake.
With the high demands of everyday life, a lot of us do not eat balanced meals. Therefore, I depend on vitamins to help balance my system. I tried the Smarty Pants brand Gummy Vitamins for Grownups. They are an all-in-one multivitamin + Omega 3s + Vitamin D. What I especially like is that these vitamins are gummies. These vitamins are much easier to take than the daily multivitamin brand I now use, which is as large as a horse pill, and sometimes difficult to swallow. The Smarty Pants vitamins are gluten free.
Next, I tested the Two Degrees Apple Pecan food bar, which is also gluten free. This bar is also low in sodium. If you like a softer food bar, which tastes delicious, you will want to pick up some of these bars to keep handy around your house for a quick snack. My husband also liked this bar.
I did not have an opportunity to test the Zarbee’s All-Natural Cough Syrup, the Kelapo Virgin Coconut Oil, or the Jovial brown rice pasta.
