I love to bake. I also like to take the time to make personal gifts on various occasions for the special people in my life. This includes baking a variety of the traditional cookies and cakes. Frequently, you will see me hunkered down in my kitchen baking these goodies for them, along with my favorite breads, which include the regular white bread, or banana nut bread. To me, there is nothing better in the world than the smell of a freshly baked loaf of bread to brighten your day.
When baking my breads, however, I would like to use a smaller pan. One that is just the right size for a single serving, and one that is made of something other than tin, since using a tin pan results, on occasion, in the crust becoming a little too brown for my taste. In my search for a better bread pan, I found exactly what I needed at Emerson Creek Pottery. It is the perfect size for the smaller loaves of bread and the pan is made of ceramic, which, in my opinion, heats more evenly. I have always had excellent results in baking my breads, or other foods using a ceramic dish, much more so than using a tin bread pan.

I selected the Small Ceramic Loaf Pan in the American Blue Pottery design for this , as I am in the hopes of adding to my collection real soon.
Upon receipt of my Emerson Creek Pottery small ceramic loaf pan, I was amazed at the care the company took in packing this item for shipment. Every precaution was taken to ensure no breakage occurred in transit. The loaf pan was wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed upon a hefty amount of crumpled thick wrapping paper, and filled to the brim with packing peanuts, both above and beneath the product. This guaranteed that the ceramic pan, if it did shift during transportation, would not get damaged. As you can see, the pan arrived in perfect condition.
Note the fluted edges of this bread pan. Aside from using this pan for the traditional bread making purpose, this is the perfect size for baking two individual portions of your favorite pie, as well.
What I especially love about this Emerson Creek Pottery small loaf pan is the versatility of the product. Of course, you can use this pan for baking the smaller loaves of bread, but this pan is just the right size for preparing an individual portion of your favorite casserole, or simply use this stunning piece as a candy dish to enhance the beauty of your table setting.
