Let me tell you a little about Stokke, they are a Norwegian company founded in Ålesund, in the northwestern part of Norway. Stokke provides worldwide distribution through selected retailers represented in around fifty countries. They design a wide variety of accessories to provide support, and promote the well being for both child and parent. Their products are unique, functional and are designed to last!
The Stokke Scoot is a lightweight stroller with a sporty and stylish design that is comfortable for parents and glides with ease. I knew right out of the box we were going to love this stroller! It was so easy to set up, and the step by step instructions are as simple as 1, 2, 3 and your done. The whole assembly process took about 20 minutes. From the minute it was set up we were off and strolling everywhere. We love our Stokke Scoot!!
This fabulous stroller comes in 8 super fun colors. We were sent the stylish black Melange and it’s gorgeous!! The stroller itself weighs 11.8 kg and measures D: 54 cm L: 64 cm-H: 111 cm. The Stokke Scoot is designed to grow with your child, from newborn to toddler up to 45 lbs, and is “Best in it’s Class”. One of my favorite features is the one-handed compact fold. This feature is wonderful for those of us with an “on the go” life style. I love how easy it folds and how nicely it fits into the trunk of my car. No struggling, yeah!!
You can also use a car seat with the Stokke scoot, car seat adapter sold separately. For newborn to 6 months Stokke carries their Stoke Scoot Softbag. We choose not to use the car seat option and you can see little Miss Novalee is sporting her Stokke Scoot at four months old and she fits beautifully. Even though the Scoot is extremely comfortable, my daughter has placed a memory foam liner in the Scoot for extra comfort. Yes, this little baby is spoiled even more so now with her Stokke Scoot, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The Scoot glides to perfection! It almost pushes it’s self. Keep in mind this is “not” a jogger stroller. Our little Miss Novalee loves to cruz around in her Scoot!
Another fantastic option is the height adjustable handle. Now I’m 5ft 4’, when extended, the adjustable handle allows me to stay in an upright position while walking which is great for my back, also at full extension the taller population will stroll with comfort, no more stooping, yeah!! When handle is retracted, it’s the perfect size for my Niko to stroll his baby sister to and from school. He loves our Stokke Scoot!!
Oh you’re going to love these awesome features!! Are you ready to see this? The Stokke Scoot has Two-Way-seating, you just press lift and turn to face baby towards you or away from you. I love it!! We can see Novalee from either side.
Now, check out the Water repellent canopy for those raining days. I call it the Scoot rain jacket.
Look at this I have never seen one of these before. It’s a mosquito net to protect baby during that dreaded mosquito season. This is a marvelous feature?
The Stokke Scoot is not the cheapest stroller around. It averages in at $599.99 before taxes. This price includes, Seat with textiles, Harness Protector, Hood with Visor, Mosquito Net and Rain Cover. There are definitely cheaper strollers out, we have one, and it’s already giving us front wheel problems. Let me tell you, after testing the Stokke Scoot for the past two weeks, I regret spending the money on our current stroller instead of investing it in a better model like the Stokke Scoot that is stylish, fashionable, functional and designed to last! Being a full-time grandmother with out a car during the day durability, style and ease of use are all a “plus” in my book! This stroller has all this and more. I hope you found these features as fascinating as I did. The scoot has so many wonderful features & options. I only shared with you some of my favorites, but no worries!! You can view them all here on their website.
Stokke Scoot takes compact, lightweight strolling to new heights! I highly recommend this stroller! You can stay connected to Stokke through their social media’s networks: Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
