The book is simple but deep in its questions and helps you open up artlessly. Although, they have 250 pages they are not overwhelming as they are peppered with fun activities, engaging online tidbits and funny anecdotes on the writing of the book itself.

We received a set of His and Hers activity booklets with two cute pencils, labeled Venus and Mars. We shut down our phones as directed by the book, watched no tv, picked our drinks and focused on one another. My husband liked that this would be a relationship activity that would get me off his back! Ha! He did comment that he would’ve liked a blue or other colored book as opposed to pink. They went easy and slowly got to more serious topics without being overbearing. My favorite subject was the Living Together chapter as I learned that there were some household chores my spouse doesn’t mind doing that I do. This alone was worthwhile for me. My husband loved the Money chapter and Entertainment chapter. We have strong matching values in regards to money goals and the Entertainment section was pretty funny and helped us reminisce on our earlier relationship years.
