As you may already know, teachers are a critical part of our children’s lives. Teachers are with our children five days a week for the better part of the day. They do their best to help set them up for success, and they need our support to be able to do their job to the best of their ability. Which is why I’m so excited to tell you about Staples new relationship! Can you guess who Staples has teamed up with to help inspire the public to help classrooms that are in need by making simple donations at their local Staples or by visiting StaplesForStudents.com?
If you guess Katy Perry, you are correct! They are at it again, working together to help teachers so they can do their job to the best of their ability.
My aunt was a teacher for many years, and she used to spend her money to make sure her students had everything they needed and could do a few extra fun, but educational projects. She told me, she spent on average about $500 to $600 a year on things for her students. She told me the way she looked at it was she was investing in their future because the extra things they did were not only a reward to the students but an educational reward. It was a win-win and you know there are plenty of teachers out there who have to spend their money on supplies for their students each year. As a matter of fact, many teachers spend more than $400 of their money!

As a parent, I would have to agree with Katy Perry, “Education is a foundation for a great life.” And, I’m excited to let you know that Katy Perry is not only supporting the teachers but want to help students be inspired by their teachers and that they help see the opportunities to help them realize their dreams are available.
