Who is ready for Valentine’s Day? This week Valentine’s falls on a Wednesday, so don’t be caught unprepared. With Peppa Pig you can be more than ready and have a lot of fun with your little ones at the same time. Peppa Pig is one fun adventurous cartoon pig, she and her family embark on everything from everyday life to the wonderful holidays! She is super cute, friendly, kind and has a wonderful British accent that will entertain your children in a positive way.
Peppa Pig and her family are full of love, fun and joy for you and your little ones to enjoy with. Peppa Pig episodes can be found on Peppa Pig and her family consists of her, her younger brother George, Mommy and Daddy Pig. They have lots of friends, ranging from bunnies to zebras and elephants. Each friend is a different time of animal with very human like behavior that can be relatable to children and their own behavior. The show can be found on Nick Jr. or online. She and George are very relatable as they are ages four and two respectively. I love that Peppa is very inclusive of her smaller brother, which is something that needs to be modeled in cartoons more often.
We received Peppa’s Valentine’s Day book, a set of 32 Peppa Pig Valentine cards from Paper Magic, Package of 20 Peppa StickerTreats sticker boxes from Stickerfitti and a Peppa Pig 2018 wall calendar. My children enjoyed these and couldn’t wait to share all the Peppa Pig stickers with their cousins and classmates. The card set comes with 32 which is great for any classroom size while still having extras. I accidentally ripped one and was afraid we would end up short but there was plenty. The cards fold in half, have a heart sticker to close them and have a few character stickers to include inside the card. The kids liked the variety as they could gift a boy character or girl one as needed. The Valentine’s book was also a fun read, with a nice sticker page surprise at the end. The story was sweet and perfect to explain the holiday to small children and a fun Zoey Zebra character and her twin sisters. Lastly, we looked at the calendar and marked when Valentine’s Day will take place. The kids asked a few questions about the days of the month and what other holidays are coming up. It was nice to be able to point to a box on the calendar to show them. They immediately asked to hang it up next to their bed. Share all the love with Peppa Pig, George and Zoey!
