My sister, brother, sister-n-law, hubby, the kids and myself all decided to get together and have a fun family movie night, but not just any movie night. It’s a special movie night, not only with Gooey Peppermint Smores Cookies but an awesome new game called Pop Stream™.
Before I get started telling you about our movie night and experience playing Pop Stream™, I wanted to share the Gooey Peppermint Cookie Recipe with you. I wasn’t planning to share the recipe, but it was a HUGE hit at the party, so I wanted to make sure and share it.

Pop Stream™ – Movie Trivia Like You’ve Never Seen Before
So what makes Pop Stream™ so cool? Well, there is all sorts of fabulous things about Pop Stream™ here are a few of my favorite. I’m sure you’ll love the game just as much as we did.

- It’s still movie night with the family, but BETTER! You know those nights when you want to do something with the family so you can talk, giggle, laugh, and maybe even get a little competitive? Yup, well Pop Stream™ is like the best movie night EVER! See because Pop Stream™ is so much more than just a board game. It’s so much better than just watching a movie, Pop Stream™ allows players to divide up into teams for a little friendly computation; you’ll need a tablet to stream the big screen scenes as well as the trivia all while the interactive buzz-in game board brings the crazy fun action to family night.
- Get in the game, YOU GET IN THERE! – You can get into the competition! Pop Stream™ allows you to become part of the game. You’ll first split into two teams, pick your awesome team name, take a selfie, and put yourself on one of those little guys on your screen!
- Pop Stream™ is easy to use and setup – Setting up both the board and the Pop Stream™ app are super easy to set up. The app guides you and the game show host does all the work so you can have fun playing the game and focus so you can keep your team in the game.
- It’s addicting – I’m convinced you’ll want to play Pop Stream™ once I tell you a little about it. It’s SO MUCH fun with a group of people. The kids even joined in the fun for a bit. Of course Mattie has the help of her auntie, lol. She’s no dummy she knows who is going to hook her up with the answer lol. Mattie played for a bit but did lose interest. I knew she would she is too young, her attention span just doesn’t work that way yet lol. Vayda played with us almost the whole time; she keeps bugging me to bring everyone over again lol. It is that fun, check it out.
- It’s SUPER cool – Pop Stream™ is awesome and it works a lot different than I would have thought. See the app uses the camera on your tablet so it can see who buzzed first, the answer they choose, as well as how much they bet. There is no batteries or Bluetooth either. Cool right? FIY – You will need both the board and the app to play. See the app needs to be set up in a particular spot so it can regulate the game for you. It knows where it’s supposed to be which is with the board.
- Plenty of categories so there is always something new – There are currently 14 different question categories, which as: Blockbuster – This is going to be questioned about which movies killed it at the box office, Head Shots – Do you know which actor your selfie is covering up in the game, Oh, Location – Questions that are based on different impressive skills on the movies, Poster Toaster – Trivia based on movie posters, Out of Order – Senses form a film in the correct order. There are several more categories, but I’ll leave those for you to have fun with when you get the Pop Stream™ board and download the app.
- OMG get on the big screen – Since most tablets now a day allows you to mirror your tablet on your TV you can watch yourself play on the big screen. How awesome is that? We haven’t done it yet, and, to be honest, I didn’t know we could do that until a little while ago. I guess if I had thought about it, I would have known the table was capable of mirroring the TV. I suppose i was just having a way too much fun to care, lol.
POP STREAM is the ultimate Movie Trivia game experience for a night in with your friends. Watch hundreds of actual movie clips stream on your tablet as two teams go head-to-head in a game of cinema smarts. POP STREAM combines your favorite movie scenes with the excitement of a game show, right in your living room!
To run the Pop Stream™ App, you’ll need a recommended tablet and of course if you are anything like me you’ll want to make sure your tablet is up to date by downloading and installing any software needed for installing the Pop Stream™ app, lol. I’m horrible, and I don’t play with my tablet daily. There are times a month will go by without me reaching for my tablet, which means there is typically an update or three.
You can learn more about Pop Stream™ by visiting their website at PopStreamGames.com. You can also head over to Amazon.com, Google Play, or Apple App Store to download the Pop Stream™ app so you can enjoy a night of super awesome movie trivia!

Wow, do these look great! I love anything that is “ooey and gooey”. They seem like a bit of work to make, but afterwards, it will be well worth the effort.
It sounds good. Except for the marshmallow. I’d skip that and maybe frost the cookies
