I have always had a passion for learning and thankfully, I passed this on to my kids. Research shows that if a child loves to learn, they will stay more engaged in their classwork and are more likely to do well in school. If they retain this trait beyond graduation and through the working years, it can even help prevent cognitive decline. Loving to learn doesn’t come naturally to everyone however, but parents can help their children develop and maintain a healthy attitude towards learning. One way to do this is to make learning fun and Highlights™ has some great activity books that can help you do just that.
Kids will love learning with Highlights Learning Big Fun Activity Books. The books are perfect for building skills and preventing summer learning loss in younger kids. They are filled with over 250 pages of puzzle based activities to get students excited about learning while enhancing their confidence towards school. Each one also has simple tips for helping parents talk to their child about the activities included. The Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade Big Fun Activity Books are available until August 7th at Walmart for just $12.99.
Highlights Write-On Wipe Off Activity Books let children practice the skills they are learning again and again. The Write-On Wipe-Off Let’s Write Words and Write-On Wipe-Off Let’s Write Letters books have a unique binding that allows them to lay flat making it easy for little ones to draw and write. They contain a variety of activities such as mazes that keep kids engaged in learning. Children will also build their confidence as they practice writing letters and words. The activity books are available for $12.99 until August 7th at Walmart.
Both types of books are perfect for the younger kids. They are loaded with activities that keep the little ones engaged and interested in learning. The books are a great way to prepare your child for preschool, kindergarten, or first grade. You can also use them to reinforce skills they are learning or to prevent summer learning loss. I especially like the Write-On Wipe Off Activity Books because you can take them on the go. We take ours everywhere with us as it keeps my toddler busy AND learning at restaurants, in the car, or at a friends house.
