Keep Those Illnesses at Bay with a Honeywell Humidifier
It seems that no matter where you go, or who you talk to lately, one topic of your conversation will be focused upon any health issues you may have. Although, I don’t have any facts or figures to support my allegations, I believe that there are more illnesses in today’s society than ever before. Of course, I could attribute it to the depleting ozone layer, or the population explosion, and while those might be factors, I believe it is a combination of several reasons. One aspect is the air we breathe.
When I was a child, you could not get me into the house until dark, unless it was meal time or to use the facilities, especially in the summer time. I hardly ever got sick when I was younger, and I have the good food, exercise and fresh air to account for that. But, in today’s society, it seems like the days are getting hotter and the nights are colder, which forces us to spend more time indoors. That, of course, means more illnesses because there is less moisture in the air. It is for this reason that I am glad to have tested the Honeywell Easy to Care Humidifier by KAZ, as it keeps the humidity level in my home at a comfortable 40-60%.
There are many benefits to using a humidifier in your home. While the Honeywell Easy to Care Humidifier will help curb any complaints of a sore throat and nasal passages in the winter, a humidifier can be used year round. A Honeywell humidifier can also help relieve itchy eyes and cracked skin because it adds moisture to the dried out air. Plus a humidifier can also help reduce static electricity and cracks in paint and furniture, as well as keeping your plants from drying out.
There are several features you will want to take in account when purchasing a humidifier, such as ease of use, and whether the humidifier is easy to fill and clean. Plus, you will want to consider whether or not you need to purchase filters.
The sleek design of the Honeywell Easy to Care Humidifier is a top fill model disbursing a warm mist of up to 95% bacteria free. The tank capacity of the Large Room model is up to 1.3 gallons, which will run up to 24 hours when set at a low level, making it the perfect choice for use in a living room, family room, or large bedroom. Further, a refill indicator light will illuminate when the humidifier needs refilling. Plus, the humidifier will automatically shut off when empty thus reducing your risk of any fire danger.
Additionally, the Easy to Care Warm Mist Humidifier from Honeywell has a filter free reservoir, so you will save approximately $50 a year by not having to purchase replaceable filters. Unlike some competitor model humidifiers, the Honeywell humidifier operates quietly. It has no internal fan meaning that the Honeywell humidifier is virtually silent and excellent for use overnight. Further, maintenance of the humidifier is easier when you can put some of the parts right into the dishwasher for cleaning. This humidifier’s top cover, mist chimney and water float are all top-rick dishwasher safe.
The Honeywell humidifiers are economically priced at the KAZ website, or you can check their site for the nearest retail store that handles these products. Also, you will want to stop by KAZ’s Facebook page to enter their sweepstakes, Twitter, You Tube, and Pinterest pages too, for the latest information regarding humidifiers and other products sold by KAZ.
Every home should have a humidifier to keep those illnesses at bay. Improve your family’s quality of life this winter with a Honeywell humidifier from KAZ and keep the conversations with your friends and family on other important topics aside from your health.

I have multiple health problems, including allergies, asthma and COPD. So I’ve tried a few humidifiers. I like that you don’t have to deal with a messy and costly replacement filters. The large reservoir and auto turn off are great features too. I also like that it can be used in a larger area since I spend most of my time in my living room 🙂
I would love one of these..living in vermont it seems someone in my family is always sick throughout the winter months.
This would be great to have since my daughter and I suffer from allergies. I think this would help since I have a few animals.
Thanks for your wonderful review. Honeywell is such a great product name and their products are built to last. Our home is in dire need of a humidifier right now. I am waking up throughout the night with a terribly dry throat and nose. I think our furnace runs constantly lately and it’s causing nose bleeds from the dryness. I would love to have a Honeywell humidifier to keep in my bedroom at night!!
This would be nice to have with the amount of congestion we face and then we always wake up feeling irritated because of it.
always great to have in the cold winter months
could really use one of these, the air here is so dry. would love to win one thank you.
Now that my husband and I are older and beginning to have more health issues, getting one of these would be a good idea for getting our home into a healthier environment!
I am in the market for a humidifier & I believe you’ve just sold me on this one. I love that there are no filters to replace. I can safely run it all night while we’re sleeping. And the real clincher: It shuts itself off. (because I WILL forget!)
I am blessed with no allergies or air quailities whatsoever…BUT I would give this gift so fast to my best friend of 30 years and her daughter who both suffer badly..especially in the winter.
My whole family has terrible allergies. I used to have to sit up in bed at night to sleep just so I could breathe! I’d love to try this and see if it helps.
i have really dry ,itchy skin in the winter, this would help a lot.
I really need a humidifier. Next time I will not let it succumb to the slime monster of mildew. Anyone have any suggestions for this?
This would be good to have for the grand kids as they seem to be getting sick all the time and a humidifier like this one will help with their breathing at night time
this could really come inn handy especially for my three kids they have been getting sick often
This would replace an old one!
Thanks for the great giveaway!
My favorite aspect of this particular humidifier is that it is easy to clean. Because if you don’t keep this things clean, they get moldy and then you are even sicker.
They blast the heat up here in this apartment SO high! Even if I turn off the radiator, it’s still SO hot and dry! I need a humidifier so I don’t shrivel up into a raisin! (More than I am already shriveled, that is!). I also like the filter-free feature!
We seem to get quite a few colds in the winter so we might need to try a humidifier
this would be a great product to have in our very dry climate
Looking forward to not being sick! Need one of these badly!
I live in an apartment that has electric heat so this would come in handy for me.
Our house really needs a humidifier. Yesterday we had a high of 11 below zero. With the cold weather our house is dryer than dry and and we are getting shocked from static electricity.
A humidifier would sure be a blessing right now. We had a high yesterday of 11 below and it would be nice to not get shocks from static electricity. And no matter how much lotion I put on, my skin is so dry it feels itchy.
We are currently in the market for a new humidifier. My kids both have allergies, and they seem to do much better when we run a humidifier a few nights a week in their rooms. I noticed however, the other night that my daughter looked almost moldy, which is strange bc we clean them after each time we use it. So we threw that one away and are looking to replace it.
This sounds great! I live in Northern Canada, and it gets SO dry in the winter. We have to keep humidifiers going at night all winter long. I need another one for my own room!
I live in NM and it’s so dry this would help me. The review makes me think the Honeywell Hunidifier would be a good deal. I’ll be looking at sales to see if I can get a deal.
I know someone that could really use this.
Honeywell humidifier help’s relieve itchy eyes and cracked skin because it adds moisture to the dried out air. I really could use this my skin and air is terribly dry.. Thanks for the review
I’m so sicked of having dried out sinuses! This sounds like the most wonderful product! I love that it doesn’t require filters. I hate buying filters just to have to throw them away a month later! Oh, and the fact that I can just put parts of it in the dishwasher? Best idea ever! Thanks so much for this info!
Bought one a few months ago for my office. Makes a huge difference. Need one for my bedroom now!
We really need one of these in the house right now with all the freezing cold weather that we have been having here in Northern Illinois lately.
I enjoyed your very thorough review. Wow. No filters and quiet. It sounds wonderful. I keep a humidifier on in the bedroom for my husband and myself and we usually keep a teakettle going on the stove in the kitchen. My husband is a laryngectomee and must keep the humidity at 50 percent in order to be able to breathe comfortably. I would love to use this humidifier.
I really need a humidifier because it’s real cold & dry air here in Vegas & my heater is not working!!
Wow, no filters! A big selling point!
Could really use this! My new old house is sooooooo dry you can see a light display at night if you pull apart fabrics in the dark!
This would be very useful, my home is so dry
WE do not have one as ours broke. It is great for my kids as hey both have asthma and get sick alot. Helps with the driness alot better
This looks like a great humidifier. Our house is always dry in the winter.
sometimes i have trouble breathing at night, i am not sure why or if it is from anxiety but i think this would help out. I didn’t know it could help keep the air healthier so you are less likely to get a cold. my husband is the one to always bring home a cold!
I like that it’s filter free. A humidifier would be great. When the weather is dry my throat gets sore, I get static shocks and my hair stands up. Not a pretty picture!
When my children were young I had the humidifier going at all times with liquid vaporsteam. It is sure to help them stay well in the winter.
I am so getting one of those are heat is gas and it is so dry
I agree! I think humidifiers work miracles in the winter. Most heat is so dry it has an adverse effect on the respiratory system and skin.
I use a humidifier and it does help keep illnesses away.
I need that. I have terrible allergies. Also, we live in an older home and it gets so cold in here. I like the comfort that a humidifier adds.
