It’s not easy to purchase kids Christmas gifts. I know everyone else is talking about back-to-school, and here you have me ranting about kids Christmas gifts already lol. There’s a reason, pinky-promise.
With all this back-to-school shopping going on I have been in high stress mode. It seems somewhere between May and August I totally lost a month, maybe two. That’s right, I’m not sure where July went, and June for that matter. Did anyone else miss them? I think a ninja took July, and I didn’t’ notice until AUGUST, BACK-TO-SCHOOL SHOPPING OMG!
I purchase Christmas gifts for about 20 kids (including my kids). Typically I shop early, that’s right I have kids Christmas gifts stashed in my closet by now. Since I left my job, and the kids have been out of school; I don’t know what day of the week it is, much less the whole date. Horrible, I know! In my defense, I have spent every single day since I turned 13 years old working when I was not at school, and when I graduated working, working, and more working. I always knew what the date once. Well I took the summer off! My husband warned me, “it’s going to catch up with you babe.” That is what he told me, he was right; I know I’m expecting it to snow in June, I mean August now too. It’s not everyday I admit that he was right, but there was no way around this one.
Anyway, to make this story shorter. I realized I needed to come back from my mental Disney vacation, stop playing around, and focus on keeping up with things.
Typically I have this wonderful routine all year-long that helps me with kids Christmas gifts, along with gifts for my husband, and everyone else on my list. It’s a really great routine, works like a charm. When you follow it, lol.
Being that I started out late I need to get a move on it before I end up stressed out. Oh, see I also have three kids birthdays between now and Christmas too. See the more I write about it the more stressed I get. Which is why I’m so excited about Kwickeye. I think this will help me get back on track, with the kids Christmas gifts. I enjoyed using Kwickeye, and think it’s a great website that can make shopping for kids Christmas gifts, or any occasion for that matter, less stressful. I think there will be plenty of moms and dads that use this website for many different reasons. My sister-n-law was here when I signed up, and she joined to. I’’ still waiting other to confirm her email so I can follow her.
My overall experience at Kwickeye was very positive. I can see how this website would be very useful, especially during Christmas time. After I joined and played around for a little while I thought about some relatives who would benefit from this.
I spend so much time on the phone from November to December with family members answering questions about what the kids like, sizes, things I need, etc. Every time someone says, “What do you need for the kids?” My mind turns into mush, and suddenly I cannot remember my name, much less that thing that I really needed for Madisyn. Ever happen to you? I cannot be the only person it happens to lol. There was only one thing that I wished was different. When you add clothing to your KwickList there is no way to add sizes. This would be an awesome feature to add to the website, and really be beneficial for moms adding to their lists, as well as people following along.
I recommend Kwickeye to anyone who enjoys easy shopping, wants to purchase great gifts for kids in their life that are approved by mom without asking, and moms who want to make gift giving easy for family and friends. Kwickeye does make purchasing gift for kids, baby, and getting things mom needs much easier. It also helps give us mom a one-stop-shop full of unique products that we probably had not thought about, or would find anywhere else. This is a way for gift gives to be positive they are purchasing something mom needs and the kids want, and keep the surprise. I don’t know about you, but I love the surprise.
