Be Who They Wanna Be – This fall, LITTLEST PET SHOP wants to empower their fans to “Be whey they wanna be!” with new LITTLEST PET SHOP! The new way to play offers fans the freedom to be creative and design their own PET SHOP world, the way they like it. It’s awesome now you can build your own Downtown City, Littles Pet Shop now have customizable style sets and figured who are inspired by the Littlest Pet Shop animated series, and you can collect and stack the play sets horizontally or vertically to build your own city skyline.
We have other kids over all the time! With five kids in the house, it is hard to not always have other children over lol. We recently had over a few of the girls friends and my nephew. We were supposed to have two more children over, but I had to move the party back several weeks so they were not able to make it, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have fun. The Littlest Pet Shop playset has been one of the most fun playsets I have helped my girls put it. It is rewarding when you are finished to look at everything, how great it looks, and look over at your kids faces and they are glowing.
To get our party started we ate some fun finger foods that Vayda prepared, lol. I made these guys once, and she always wants to make them, but I do admit it was perfect for our Halloween themed gathering.
Vayda was ready for the party; she helped me make sweet Halloween treats for our gathering. She’s really starting to love to cook and bake! We made Halloween Brownies, and these super cute Frankenstein rice crispy treats Vayda made all by herself! She did such a great job, but had a little trouble getting them green. FYI, none of the kids cared they ate every last one of them, which really made Vayda feel good.
One of the kids favorite TV shows is Littlest Pet Shop, and they have loved the toys as long as I can remember. The girls were super excited to start playing with The Littlest Pet Shop Design Your Own Littlest Pet Shop and Blythe’s Bedroom, but of course I had to make them wait.
Mattie didn’t wait very well. Every time I turned around she was trying to sneak into the box, and looking at the pictures on the back just plotting her next move lol.
It was so funny everyone else went outside to jump on the trampoline, and Mattie stayed behind. WHY? She wanted to play with The Littlest Pet Shop Design Your Own Littlest Pet Shop and Blythe’s Bedroom all alone! She finally had the chance to play with everything alone, and she was not going to pass that up. She was so happy. I knew she would be, she has loved Littlest Pet Shop since she was little.
I knew how she was going to be about everything so I did hold something back for just her. Once she had a few characters in her little hands she kept them there for the rest of the day. She was claiming them, and they were hers lol. Kids are always so much fun, but my daughter Mattie was a mess, lol. She wouldn’t let the Littlest Pet Shop toys out of her eyesight’s.
I don’t know that I had a favorite toy growing up, I was into riding horses, and really didn’t have time for much. Maybe that is why I have so much fun playing dolls with my girls now, lol. It was something I missed. My girls are totally different, they love toys, dolls, and things like that. Mattie she loves dolls but is a huge animal lover. I think that is why she has always liked Littest Pet Shop so much. Even when she was too little to play with Littest Pet Shop, she would find Vayda’ characters and hold on to them forever. I would have to watch her with the, but she just wanted to hold on to the little pets.
My kids loved that they were able to design their Littlest Pet Shop World the way they wanted it, and since the party, I am not sure how many times it changed. I have to be honest, I had a blast helping them set it up. The Littlest Pet Shop Style Set comes with 135 pieces and allows you to design it the way you want. You’ll find customizable wall panels, stickers, reversible backdrops, accessories, Deco Bits pieces unique plug-in pieces to add some color and glamor to your sets and your pets.
I think the best part of the day for me was watching my daughter face as we put everything together. She was amazed how everything fit, everything included, and hasn’t stopped playing with her Littlest Pet Shop since we put it up.
They have a little area in Mattie’s room where they have everything set up, and I’m super surprised they have kept track of all the characters. I don’t know if they have a favorite, they love them all. They are always talking about when they get the rest of the set how they are going to set it up, and what they are going to do. They are debating on moving it to the other side of the room where it is away from the toy box so they can keep track of everything, lol. I love listening to them talk about it, they take toys so serious.
You know what is neat? You can design your Littlest Pet Shop world digitally with the FREE Littlest Pet Shop app, which Vayda ended up downloading on my phone. All you have to do is hold your pet, scan it with your phone, and then you can play. I don’t think the girls really have a favorite character, they love them all, and often take turns playing with each of them. If they do have a favorite I am going to bet it would change daily, if not every few hours depending on what they are doing.
As a mother, I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to watch my kids get things they love, and get offline. One reason I am the way I am with Mattie and her dolls is because she will play for days using her imagination, and never even want to get online when she gets a new toy like Littlest Pet Shop. Vayda on the other hand is a little older, and if she doesn’t have something to play with that she enjoys, like Littlest Pet Shop she wants to be online. I allow my children to be online, but only on parent approved websites, and during their tech time. Vayda never misses her tech time, Mattie only got on once since our party this pasted weekend because she was too busy with Littlest Pet Shop, and that was to play with the Littlest Pet Shop app Vayda was having so much fun with.
My older daughter Vayda is in love with the fact that you can use the Littlest Pet Shop app to scan the pets she wants to play with and bring them to life. It’s GREAT, she has played with every Littlest Pet Shop character! Vayda has bugged me for more Littlest Pet Shop toys, so I made a deal with her and Mattie. If they can keep their room clean and she can keep up with her homework we will get all of them, and so far they’re doing well. They have kept their rooms clean and even supporting one another to help remind each other, and even help each other clean their rooms. GOSH, this whole time I wish I would have known it was only that easy. All I needed was Littlest Pet Shop in my house lol.
