Recently I came upon a subscription box at MommyCon, Little Speech Gems, which sparked my interest because of their emphasis on speech and social-emotional development in a way that is easy for parents to apply and fun for children to learn. Each box comes with learning items, toys and tips that will help a parent work with their child on speech development activities, without having any expect knowledge in the field. Each product included will make the most of the time we spend with our children with items that will have them diving into each box. The products are chosen by the expert knowledge of the founders Ali and Elaine, speech pathologists, with much love and care.
What I liked about this product the most was the enthusiasm voiced by the owner when I met her in person. Trying out every item in this box was appealing to me as they have fun play items and products that boost your child’s speech development all in one awesome box. Their subscription boxes are geared for children ages 2 to 5, and are geared for season deliveries. There are lots of items in each box that will be used over and over and will bring great value to you. I was glad to see that my husband was also enthused about using some of these items, as he usually has a hard time with any teaching type of tasks as they are too rigid for him. There are so many items in this box it is worth the price tag. You can find their boxes priced at $59.95 for a one time purchase, $54.95 for a season box or $199.95 if you prepay for the season box in advance. It is a great value, no box is the same and you get more than what you would individually pay for these items and without the rigorous research on each item.
We received one Little Gems Speech box at the MommyCon that came with awesome goodies like: chalk eggs, wooden camera toy, Brainquest book, bracelet from and sticker book. I can’t say one was their favorite, as they just keep grabbing stuff and exclaiming over it. My son was very enthusiastic about the Brainquest book because it came with a map on the back, it had stickers that matched each page and were then placed on the map as you completed each one. They both enjoyed drawing outside with their chalk and talking about what they were drawing. They both loved the wooden camera and kept pretending they were taking pictures of each other, birds and trees.
You can find their subscription boxes on their shop page, priced from $54.95 plus 6.95 shipping. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to find out more about the benefits of these Little Gem Speech box subscription boxes and free tips if you join their mailing list.
