- Mix in eggs one at a time.
- Add cocoa and beat until combined.
- Add flour baking powder salt and coffee and mix well.
- Pour ½ of the batter into prepared baking pan.
- Put a layer of your favorite Oreo’s; fill in empty spots by breaking Oreos to fit. The more Oreo’s the better according to my husband.
- Pour remaining batter on top.
- Place in oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until completely done. You can use the toothpick method to see if brownies are finished in the middle.
Oreo Stuffed Brownie Chocolate Frosting Recipe (Optional)
- Place chips and butter in chocolate melting pot and allow to melt.
- Pour over the top of the brownies while still warm. Don’t put on top while Brownies are still HOT, wait until they are slightly warm. You want the melted chips to soak into the brownies a little but still harden on the top like a frosting.
- Add sprinkles or nuts to the top do so while it’s still warm before the chocolate begins to harden so they stick.
- Allow to cool and enjoy!
Optional – I don’t like to add Oreo’s to the top, but my husband likes it when I break up about 6 Oreos and place them on the top of batter and push down with a spoon so the batter is on top and pieces of Oreo are pushed down into the batter.
