PBS Kids is a great station loaded with fun, educational and enchanting shows and characters for young children. On April 10th, 2018 they released the Wild Kratts: Madagascar Madness DVD. Wild Kratts is one of the top rated shows from PBS Kids as it pulls in children into an imaginative exploration of nature, animals and their habitats via the likable voices of brothers Chris and Martin Kratt. The shows typically starts with the real life brothers show displaying animals, or a habitat in real life and then turns to their carton version where they then via technology transform into an animal somewhere around the world.
Wild Kratts is one of those shows that my husband and I both agree on, we sometimes even watch with them enthusiastically. Martin and Chris embark on several adventures with animals that are amazing to learn about and imagine transforming into. This DVD runs about 105 minutes with four episodes discussing different sized animals from Madagascar in a way that makes children forget that they are being taught. This show is great for children from preschool to elementary school children. There is also a great balanced mix of real life clips as well as cartoon animations. It is always funny and educational. The villains are always comical as well. Their attempts are just that attempts because the Kratt brothers are the best.
My children loved the episode when Martin and Chris turn tiny. Of course this seems impossible but for children this is an amazing concept and keeps their attention on the show. Their favorite animal was the fossa. The episode was the most appealing for our whole family. I thought it was cute how they were trying very hard to get to their mom for Mother’s day. The gifts the other team members make are charming, but the best was the pizza made out of shells. The animations are always noticeable and very appealing for young eyes. They are detailed without being scary at the same time. The kids always love Donita Donata’s crazy, villainous but creative ideas for fashion with animals. Lemur’s are mentioned a lot but they make sure to discuss different types. Get ready to have your kiddo’s talk your ear off about different kinds of lemurs and fossa’s.
