PBS Distributions brings to my household and others across the world top notch content for me and my kids. PBS Kids produces great shows my kids can enjoy like Arthur, Wild Krats, Nature Cat and more. As a parent I enjoy their selection and feel great knowing my children are not only getting entertained but are also learning without realizing it. As my children are growing they like to see characters their age with similar personalities and one such show they enjoy is that of Pinkalicious and Peterrific.
Our household loves Pinkalicious and Peterrific for their fun and quirky personalities. We love watching them on screen and weekly also read Pinkalicious books from the library. Both my kids have their favorite, my son loves Peterrific and my daughter loves Pinkalicious. The bold use of colors draws both my kids in and the balance between brother and sister bring the show closer to their heart. It seems like that age group loves eye catching colors, personalities much like their own. Although Pinkaliciouis is at times the most exciting and jovial, she does get down at times and has her brother or parents lift her back up. I think my kids both love Peterrific because he loves his sister dearly and can’t help but sometimes act silly just like her. They are different but are very happy together and always have fun games my kids can practice with each other in real life, too.
We received the Pinkalicious Peterrific: Best Pink Present DVD and were very entertained with all four episodes in this 40 minute long DVD. My son’s favorite episode was the “Best Pink Present” as he always loves to pick his own present for Dad during his birthday and Christmas and found the enthusiasm Pinkalicious had for making and wrapping his present relatable. My daughter on the other hand loved “The Celebrator” and “The Glitterizer” episodes because it involved items Mommy made inventions. She loved the Celebrator because it spoke so much to Pinkalicious’ nature but loved the color and surprise the Glitterizer caused other characters. The four episodes were full of amusing fun and pink, of course!
