Relax and Go Bare this Summer
After a wicked winter, my feet needed rescued. Not only from the effects of the cold months, but from the stresses of daily life as well. Like many, I did not take very good care of my feet over the winter and as such, they became rough and sometimes cracked. I realized summer would be here soon and I wanted to be ready. I wanted to go bare and slip on my flip flops without being self-conscious about the way my feet looked. Luckily, I found Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Company. They carry a variety of products that allow us to pamper ourselves by offering the most amazing foot soaks and much more.
Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Company’s Oats & Herbs Foot Soak is organic and comes with a reusable cotton muslin bag. To use, you will need to fill the bag with one-half cup of the foot soak. Getting the soak ready was one of my favorite steps as I was anxiously awaiting being able to relax and enjoy the benefits the Oats & Herbs Foot Soak would be giving me. Plus, the aroma was just heavenly. After your muslin bag is filled as mentioned above, place in your basin. Start off by adding very hot water dropping down to a suitable temperature. Dissolve the salts by stirring the bag. Placing a towel over the bowl will help maintain the temperature. Kick back and soak your feet for ten to fifteen minutes. This is a perfect opportunity to pamper your feet from all the wear and tear of your daily activities. When done, just rinse and towel dry.
Placing stones in the basin will turn the soak into a breathtaking massage by simply rubbing your feet gently over the stones to experience a soothing sensation. It made a rejuvenating soak even more exhilarating.
Oats & Herbs Foot Soak is a perfect choice for those tired, weathered feet. It left my feet feeling smooth and looking healthy. A definite must have so get yours today. Oats & Herbs Foot Soak is offered in a trial size for one soak or a two cup bag for four soaks.
Salts & Herbs Foot Soak, also organic, is another terrific product offered by Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Company. A perfect combination of essential oils and herbs, Salts & Herbs relaxes the sore muscles we all have. To use, put two to three tablespoons of the Salts & Herbs Foot Soak in your basin. Again, add very hot water which will start to dissolve the salts. Lower the water temperature to a comfortable level and stir to finish dissolving the salts. Place your feet in the soak for ten to fifteen minutes. Rinse and towel dry.
For those that suffer from bad foot odor, add one to two tablespoons of baking soda to your soak. Want some extra help getting rid of that flaky skin, add a quarter cup of milk.
The Salts & Herbs Foot Soak can again be turned into a massage by placing stones in your bowl and slowly moving your feet back and forth.
Salts & Herbs Foot Soak comes in 5 oz. jars, for three to four soaks, and 10 oz. jars, for six to eight soaks.
These amazing soaks gave me a chance to unwind and take care of myself. They made my feet look and feel better than ever. I am excited to go bare and show off my feet. Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Company’s soap is yet another must have. These soaps are made one batch at a time and are handmade from scratch. They are natural and free of artificial preservatives and artificial detergents, to name just a few. They provide a longer lather, which to me is a must have, and left my skin feeling like satin. Even hours later, my skin still felt smooth. Say goodbye to your ordinary bar of soap.
Lavender Rosemary Soap is Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Company’s most popular soap. It is made with real lavender, organic coconut milk and homegrown rosemary. It gave me a refreshing feeling, as well as leaving my skin soft and nourished. The scent is absolutely wonderful!!
Another hit is the Sweet Basil Soap. It is made with homegrown basil and if you act now, the new batch is made with organic ingredients.
The soap comes in full bars or you can get a sample. I strongly recommend the full bar after you find your favorite. Until then, have fun trying all of the different ones.
