I love trying new things, especially when it’s a new easy slow cooker recipe, and it makes cooking dinner faster and easier than before.
Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauces are super easy to use, and totally tasty! Using them is easier than one would ever imagine! Simply place two – three pounds of meat into your slow cooker, add in the amazing sauce packet, and WOW!
The sauces come in six varieties:
Tavern Style Pot Roast with Mushrooms and Roasted Garlic
Sweet Korean BBQ with Roasted Ginger and Sesame
Apple Bourbon BBQ with Bell Peppers and Brown Sugar
Hawaiian Luau with Pineapple
Mango and Bell Peppers
Mexican Red Chili Taco with Garlic and Sweet Peppers
Moroccan Spiced Stew with Green Olives and Lemon
I have tried two of the slow cooker sauces, and both times been very impressed with how tasty the food turned out. One of my favorites, it might sound funny, but I did not have anything to place in the slow cooker, and I wanted to try the Apple Bourbon BBQ with Bell Peppers and Brown Sugar, so I decided to use pork chops! Yes, I sure did, and I shredded them like I would anything else, and placed them on rolls, and WOW it was fabulous. I guess you would call it Shredded BBQ Pork Chop’s on a Roll! Either way it was amazing, and super easy to do.
I decided not to fill my husband in about the whole using pork chops deal, just to see if he noticed anything different, he usually is the first one to notice anything that has to do with meat. My husband asked me what kind of meat I used because it tasted great, lol. When I told him pork chops, he gave me a funny look, and told me I should do it more often. I have to admit, it was VERY yummy, and I wasn’t sure how the pork chops would turn out. Honestly, I should have known better, pork chops are amazing!

I figured many of you would love to learn about Campbell’s new Slow Cooker Sauces because I have received several comments asking for easier slow cooker recipes, and it honestly doesn’t get much easier than using these new fabulous sauces. I have not tried all the slow cooker sauces, but I have used a few. They have all been great, and have been seriously easy. With the warmer weather coming I will be using my slow cooker more and making great recipes. Did you know you can even cook your favorite pasta recipes in your slow cooker too? You sure can. I tend to use it more in the summer, because it doesn’t warm up the house like using the oven, and stove top! Be sure to swing by and check out easy dinner recipe ideas using Campbell Sauces here.

Although I love my slow cooker, I don’t use it nearly as much as I’d like to. And although I don’t generally use a lot of prepared foods, I might have to make an exception for these Slow Cooker Sauces. Thanks for the review!
The Apple Bourbon BBQ sounds super yummy! I am excited to try this now…it will make my summer cooking so much nicer when I don’t have to heat up the entire house to make a delicious dinner!
I think I’d enjoy the “Mexican Red Chili Chicken Taco Recipe in the slow cooker, but I’d substitute turkey meat for the chicken. Sounds delicious, though.
I’ve seen these in my Grocery Store & never thought to try. I now have a Slow cooker & want ALL of the Variety to choose from…Thanks Campbell’s for ALL your GREAT Varieties to choose from!!!!
We keep looking at these when we go shopping but never pick them up because meat has become so expensive! I would love to try these but maybe when the prices go down? ha! I love using my slow cooking and actually miss it since I dont know many “dinner worthy” recipes for dinner that dont contain meat. :/
I can’t rave enough about these sauces and mixes and bouillons and other cooking aids that simply are so convenient you’ve got a terrific dish on the table in a few minutes by just adding your meat or veggies. They’re a big help.
I’ve seen these sauces and wondered about them, but I admit I was a coward, I wanted someone else to try them first to see if they were any good lol. They look and sound amazing! I’m busy (who isn’t nowadays?) and rely on my slow cooker for a lot of meals, I’m definitely going to check these out now. We’re in the process of selling everything and getting ready to live and travel in an RV, so I’ll be using the crockpot even more when we’re on the road. I think I’ll stock up on these sauces to make easy meals to have ready when we stop for the night.
These look delicious! I had been wondering how well these package sauces were. You can be sure I’ll be purchasing them soon myself to try. Thanks for the review!
I haven’t tried any of these yet but the look wonderful. I like the idea using pork chops. Sounds good and if you can fool your man all the better! Ha!Ha! I have these on my grocery list for next week to try. Thanks for the info!!
Yum! My last crockpot shocked me, burned the kitchen counter, and died, so I’m hoping to win one before I’ll have a chance to try these tasty packets. I like how they’re almost all sweet+savory, of which I’m a huge fan.
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve actually tried the Hawaiian and the Apple ones. I LOEV my slow cooker. These sauces are great! I saw some new ideas in this post. Thank you!
I tried one of the Campbell slow cooker sauces right after buying my first slow cooker. My husband didn’t like it much but I loved it. It really helps make dinner easy and adds tons of flavor. I guess to each their own.
Thanks for the post. I’ve been wondering about these since I saw them in the store. I honestly don’t know which to try first, they all sound good to me 🙂 Tavern Style Pot Roast with Mushrooms and Roasted Garlic would probably be a good place to start, hubby and son are both meat and potatoes fans.
The Apple Bourbon BBQ with Bell Peppers and Brown Sugar sauce sounds delicious. I love how with busy schedules slow cook meals allow us to enjoy good homemade family meals. I agree too – it’s great to not have to heat up the house with the stove top or oven on hot days!
Oh, Holy YUM! I don’t even know where I would start! I <3 my crock pot and we are always looking for new and different recipes, as well as making dinners easier to make.
Thanks for reviewing. I wasn’t aware of these before & I think my son would enjoy trying them out. He loves to cook in the crock pot & uses it several times a week 🙂
I didn’t think it could get any easier with a Crock Pot. Well, it just did. I’m gonna have to give these a try. I think I’ll start with Apple Bourbon BBQ.
These sauces and recipes would make cooking so much easier, to just put in a crockpot. They sound very tasty and I would love to try the Hawaiian Luau with pineapple first.
I have not yet tried the Campbells slow cooker sauces, but they have made such interesting different varieties that I am sure I shall experiment with one of them soon, perhaps the Apple Bourbon BBQ.
Tavern Style Pulled Pork? And the sauce already has mushrooms and roasted garlic in it??? Step away from the slow cooker, and no one will get hurt. It’s ALL MINE!! LOL!
The Mexican Red Chili Taco looks good!!! But honestly, they all look delicious! (the Tavern pot Roast). I did not realize how many delicious varieties they have! Thanks for sharing!
I love to use my slow cooker and these packets of ingredients from Campbell’s just make the prepping easier while giving me more time with family and know that I can put a good meal on the table that everyone will eat.
Hi! These look delicious!! I’m moving to an apartment on my own soon & slow-cooking would be great for me. This product would help me so much as I’m not that much of a cook. lol Thank-you for these recipes to get me started!
Those all sound yummy! I will try them all, but I think the 1st two I will get are the Apple Bourbon BBQ and Hawaiian Luau. I use my Slow cooker a lot during the Summer too. I too don’t want to heat the house and I love being out in the yard most of the day too. I can’t wait to try these sauces.
A slow-cooker is at the top of my wish list right now. I have TONS of recipes I want to try but I doubt any are as easy as the ones in your post. Those are my kind of recipes — few ingredients, one pot, minimal prep. Campbell’s is a brand I trust and the sauces sound delish. I can’t decide which one I would try first. Both the Apple Bourbon Ribs and the Sweet Korean BBQ appeal to me.
I really LOVE using the Crock Pot!! Especially where I live during the L-O-N-G HOT Summers!! Believe me, deep southern Texas heat is no picnic when it gets to over 100 degrees and stays there for days, sometimes weeks, on end!! The slow cooker becomes your best friend, because you can still prepare a great meal without heating up the entire house and it saves on electricity, because the cooker uses less than Air Conditioning does!!
I love slow cooking pot roast. I would like to try to Tavern Style pot roast with mushrooms and Roasted Garlic. I usually just use onions, garlic and peppercorn in mine and let it cook until it falls apart. This is truly my favorite meal and my family loves it 🙂
These all look and sound amazing. Any idea what the price range might be? I know regionally it will be somewhat different, but I thought I would ask anyway.
I love meals in the slow cooker and these look absolutely delicious so I will give them a try. So much easier than slaving over the stove after a long day at work.
These are a great idea. I can’t begin to tell how many innocent roasts that my wonderful wife has murdered in our slow cooker. She means well but if she don’t put a few potatoes and yucky carrots in there, she just puts it in with a little salt and pepper. That’s it!! It never fails that the bottom inch or so is edible but the top is so dry and tough that I can’t eat it. Most of these sound awesome especially the Apple BBQ and Korean BBQ, except the bell peppers. But hey, I’d be willing to try anything. Oh yeah, If my wife asks about these comments, I’ll call you a lie to your face. LOL She knows that I love her cooking.
FYI it’s Chick Peas not chicken peas 😉 And the one I’d like to give a go is Moroccan Spiced Stew with Green Olives and Lemon. Sounds great I have tried a few of the others they are great when you don’t have all the spices you need on hand to do it yourself
I have seen these in the stores and wondered how they would taste! They look fantastic in your review and make me want to go out and get all of them. They look like great meal ideas for my family that they would actually love. Thanks for the review!
These sauces look so delicious and I have to try to use the Tavern Style Pot Roast Stew Slow Cooker Recipe. I love cooking in a Crock Pot and I want to make a nice hearty meal that is easy to make with one of these sauces.
I love Campbell’s products but found the Hawaiian Luau to have a flavor that we didn’t care for at all. I still look forward to trying the other flavors to see how they taste, and love the idea of such a simple dinner from time to time. I gave the extra Hawaiian Luau ones to a friend to see if she liked them but haven’t heard back from her yet.
I just love crock pot dinners, the convenience, the taste (of good recipes of course), and I love the smell of the house for hours before dinner. I haven’t tried these yet, but you can know that I will.
These Campb’ell’s Slow Cooker Sauces look/sound delicious. Thank you for sharing the great recipes, I can’t wait to give these sauces a try. Thank you for this post.
