When decorating our children’s rooms we want something that is useful, stylish and comfortable. With SNURK Living you can have style, comfort and a fun way to dress up your child’s bedroom and spark their imagination all in one. Established in 2007 by owners Peggy van Neer and Erik van Loo out of Amsterdam they bring a handmade touch to your child’s duvet needs. They are made from 100% cotton that will be sure to feel soft and great against your child’s skin as they get their best rest.
I greatly admired the quality of printing on the duvet covers, each one created by actual photoshoots and completed via silk screening. I got a bit lost in the texture of each graphic and soft quality of the material. Almost like when you print on a colored photo for the first time on a printer, the quality is just that outstanding and unexpected. The duvets are sturdy but not heavy. The images they have are all ones that appeal to young children and parents alike or the child at heart. They were recently listed on Oprah’s favorite things list. As a parent I also love that they are Oeko-Tex certified, meaning their products have no harmful items that will affect our health. My personal favorite image is their mermaid, but they have so many choices that you will be sure to find one to fit your child or as a gift. The duvets come in twin, full, queen and even King sizes with one cover and pillowcase.
We received the amazing Princess duvet cover and Astronaut duvet cover, which both kids went nuts over. My son especially loved how fresh and comfortable the duvet cover was. When I wanted to remove it to wash, he insisted on keeping it an extra night because it felt so comfortable and looked so cool on his bed. My daughter loved the colors on the princess duvet cover as did my niece. The headpiece on the pillows were adorable and my son kept putting his head in the middle to get the helmet on “right”. They both couldn’t wait to show off to their cousins and kept talking about how they were going to sleep pretending to be an astronaut and princess. The duvet covers also led to conversations on astronauts and what they do in space. I loved it!
You can find the varied styles on their shop from $119 + $5 flat rate shipping. Follow SNURK living on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest for details on new images, deals and news. In addition, one lucky reader will get one of these duvet covers in twin size to enrich their child’s room.
