Springtime Chocolate Dipped Bugles & Fun Lunch Box Idea

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Del Monte®. The opinions and text are all mine.
My kids love to take their lunch, but what they love even more than taking their lunch is when I do fun lunches for them to take to school and show off. It’s an added perk if I make something like this springtime chocolate dipped Bugles recipe and toss in a fruit cup.   Last year my daughter told me the fun lunch that I sent her made everything say she was so cool, lol.  She was in kindergarten so I imagine it probably was cool and still is because even my 5th grader loves it when is send her to school with a fun lunch surprise.

I recently made Vayda a fun spring lunch since the days have been so nice where we are from.  She loves spring – flowers, trees, butterflies, frogs and cupcakes lol.  She is a spring girl who is ready for summer to be here so she can spend her days riding her horse.  So I decided to surprise her with a fun spring lunch and remind her that spring is right around the corner.

To make the springtime lunchbox all I did was make the sandwiches and use a cookie cutter to turn them into cute little butterfly sandwiches. As for the rest of it, I made some Chocolate Dipped Bugles, and the rest was EASY! My kids love Del Monte® fruit and Vayda always tells me that peaches reminded her of spring so I made sure to put some in her lunch.  Along with Juicy Juice®, to drink and Wet Ones® Hand Wipes to clean up those messy hands because I don’t know how kids to it but they always manage to make a mess, even when you think it’s impossible. Well, my kids do anyway. So I do my best to always send them with Wet Ones® Hand Wipes.

The hardest thing about making the lunch was the Chocolate Dipped Bugles but they were even easy to make.

I love bugles! Add chocolate and I am in. These would be so much fun! I am thinking I could use white chocolate and dye it green for St.Patrick’s Day.
