We’ve all had an epic mom fail at least one or twelve times. It’s part of motherhood, we’re not perfect, we get great ideas, and well they end up being not so great ideas. It’s life, in honor of American Housewife I wanted to share a few epic mom fails with you.

Duct Tape
We have all thought about it and hear other moms talk about it but I think it’s safe to say Duct Taping your toddler to the wall would be considered an epic mom fail.
Giving the kids the mixer beaters
Okay, so giving them the beaters isn’t bad but MAKE SURE THEY ARE TAKEN OUT OF THE MIXER FIRST. Things could be bad and would for sure be an epic mom fail.
Use fake tan while breastfeeding
Poor little guy or girl will have fake tan on their little faces, and this would for sure be an epic mom fail.
Discouraging early savings for a Roth IRA
Saving money early in life is a huge plus. Don’t discourage early savings even if it’s for a Roth IRA, like on American Housewives. OMG, this show is going to be great!
“My full-time job is to make sure one of my kids fits in more and two fit in less.”
The new comedy from ABC, American Housewife, will premiere on October 11th and the lead character will be played by Katie Otto. She’s an unapologetic and confident wife and mother who is raising her family in a wealthy town called Westport in Connecticut. She’s not your typical Westport mom, you know perfect, petite, perfect children. The only reason her family in Westport is because of the great schools that are beneficial to one of her kids with special needs.
