I am sure if your household is anything like mine that, there are times when you need an extension cord. Yes, I have regular extension cords, but what I am referring to is the extension cords that are used with my cell phones and tablets, as well as my other electronic toys. The first item, the Pixi is a reusable multi-purpose tie to bundle or secure anything under the sun. The Pixi units are offered in packages in three different sizes. The small size package contains eight Pixi units, the medium size package holds six Pixi units and the large size has four Pixi units. I can find 1000 uses for these ties as I am always looking for a tie for some reason or another. Before I was privileged enough to review the Pixi units, I had been using the ties that come on a loaf of bread. The only problem with those though is that they tend to break after a few times of using them. Moreover, the paper covering the wire rips off too quickly, which poses a safety hazard.

How many ways can you use a Pixi?
The Pixi units are compatible with anything that needs to be bundled, size permitting and are offered in a variety of colors based upon the size you select.
The Pixi units are simple to use by wrapping them around the object you want to secure. Holding the button in place, take the bungee slack and pull tight to trap it in locking channel. If needed, tighten by pulling the slack through the channel.
I love the fact that the Pixi units are reusable. And, to keep all my Pixi units together, I have used a medium size Pixi unit to hook them all together. Therefore, instead of having all the units scattered all over everywhere, they are all grouped together in my kitchen drawer.
The second item I reviewed is the Portiko, which is a 6-foot extension cord with two outlets and two USB ports. The Portiko was created to expand the functionality of a single socket and create a hub from which to work. Each Portiko package contains one Portiko and one Magnetic Adhesive Plate in either a white or a blue color.
You can always keep power within reach with a Portiko. The Portiko has two 110V outlets and two USB ports; you can plug in two laptops, an iPad, and a phone at once. One USB port is dedicated for iOS devices to charge at full speed. The 45-degree angled plus keeps other sockets accessible, so you do not need to rearrange plugs you are already using. I think this idea is perfect. The Portiko is compatible with US sockets only.

A self-adhesive metal plate is included with each Portiko, but the use is optional. It can be mounted on either a wall or a desk. However, prolonged use of the adhesive plate may cause marking.
