Keeping your garbage disposal clean is easy. All you need is a few tablespoons of baking soda. Simply sprinkle it down the drain every week or two, allow it to sit for 30 minutes and rinse. All you have to do is squeeze lemon juice into the drain, allow it to sit for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

2.) Grease – Getting rid of grease buildup can help keep your kitchen smelling great. Simply wipe away any grease left on our burners and from your stove. After you have wiped away grease you a vinegar and water mixture (50/50 vinegar & water) to get rid of any leftover smells, food or grease left behind.

3.) Get a new sponge – I’m sure you have smelled that funky odor that comes from your sponge. Just replace your sponge! I’ve heard you can wash them in your dishwasher, but I have never tried it/ I’ve always just replaced my sponges.

4.) Not sure where the kitchen odor is coming from – If you are not sure where the kitchen smell is coming from pour 1 cup of vinegar into a pan and boil. Once vinegar comes to a boil, turn off the burner and allow to sit for 3 hours. Your home may smell like vinegar for a bit, but it’s worth it to get rid of that funky smell.
