With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing into 2021, it’s important that we all do our part to slow the spread of the virus. As many of us wait for our turn to get the vaccine, face masks have become our best chance to protect the elderly and immunocompromised groups.
But what about our young children? It’s important that we continue to protect our kids even as more and more people receive the vaccine. The best ways to that? Social distancing, washing your hands, not touching your face, and wearing a high-quality face mask in public.
In fact, face masks are critical in mitigating the spread of this horrible virus, but they can be fun for kids too. Take a look at my favorite places to shop for kids face masks:
The Boomer Naturals three-layer face mask is great for children because it is lightweight and adjustable. For less than $10, this silver-infused low-cost face covering comes in a variety of styles that are perfect for your little ones. My favorites include the Mermaid design, White Purple Flowers, Cats, and Unicorn. With a Boomer Naturals face mask, your child will be protected and look stylish!
The Crayola Kids Face Mask comes in a pack of five for each school day! The dual-layered mask includes many features such as a nose clip, adjustable ear straps, and a name tag to keep track of their mask. With funky, 3-D designs, your child will be excited to wear their mask out and about – and it’s conveniently available on Amazon.
Gap Kids contour masks come in several fun styles, including a tiger face, yellow “awesome,” and tie die “smile.” Each face mask is complete with soft ear straps perfect for your tween and is looking to incorporate some color into their outfit with a new accessory. Their children’s masks are triple-layered, one-size fits all with a pocket to add a filter if needed.
Green Sprouts’ face masks are made with a large range of sizes in mind that could fit your toddler to yourself. The water-resistant, carbon-layered mask has elastic ear straps and a lightweight design that is great for children. The cute designs range from grey fish to pink blossoms to aqua starfish. And the best part? 10% of all proceeds are donated to organizations in need!
Whether you’re taking your kids to school or to the grocery store, face masks are now and will continue to be a necessity. Make sure your children are protected, but feel free to have a little fun with it. Stay safe everyone!
