Creative play helps promote healthy brain development and provides an outlet for children to express their emotions. With the amount of tech-based toys on the market continuously increasing, it can make finding toys that inspire creative play difficult. If you are searching for something that engages your little one in imaginative play checkout Twinkle Play Tents.
Twinkle Play Tents, launched by Jay@Play, maker of FlipaZoo and Playbrites, take kids on an adventure into the world of make believe. They are available in two styles to provide a great play experience. Little ones can go on exciting quests in the Dragon Lair or attend the royal ball in the Princess Palace tent.
On the outside, the Twinkle Play Tents features fun designs in bright colors, but inside is where the magic happens. Once kids step inside and play their favorite song, the tent comes alive with changing colors. As your child sings, talks, or plays music, the lights move and change colors to the sounds. The LED lights are cool to the touch for safety. When playtime is over, the lights automatically shut off. They have two flaps for doors and you can use the attached straps with Velcro to hold them open. Each tent comes with a storage bag so children can take it with them anywhere! They require 3 AAA batteries, not included and assembly is required.
Like most kids, my daughter is not a big fan of the dark. When we bought her first play tent, we didn’t even think about whether it would be light enough inside. Unfortunately it wasn’t and it sat unused and collected dust. This is not an issue with the Twinkle Play Tent. It lights up when she walks in and she keeps her musical bear inside so she always has music on hand. The lights shut off if she is quiet for too long, but she knows just what to do to activate them.
Assembly of the tent is fairly simple and it took about 10 minutes total. The tent is larger in size than I expected and it could comfortably fit more than one child. I even crawl inside with her and have plenty of room to move around. These Twinkle Play Tents are also easy to take down. The only issue I had was getting it into the carrying bag, but I figured out how to fold it correctly after a few minutes. Twinkle Play Tents are a great choice for kids of all ages.
You can purchase Twinkle Play Tents from the official website for $39.99. They will also be available at Walmart sometime in December.
