As the weather changes to cold, our skin starts to react to humidity, which could make it dull. That shouldn’t always be the case every monsoon. You can avoid it through avoid it and bring in the hurricane on a shiner note. This can be done quickly through the following face masks. 

  1. Honey and Banana Lemon Mask

The banana fruit is one of the most effective homemade facemasks for glowing skin. It helps unclog pores, get rid of the dead skin and unclogs pores, leaving your skin shiny and supple. A banana contains calcium, potassium, soluble fibers and magnesium, which not only work on digestion and blood pressure but also work miracles on oily skin. 

A banana lemon and honey facemask can be made by adding a tablespoon of lemon juice and honey to mashed bananas. It is then applied to the face and neck area and allowed to dry for a few minutes. 

2. Green Tea Mask

Green tea is rich in antioxidants which is an essential face mask for a glowing skin. It is excellent for an oily skin tone when consumed with warm water and applied on as a mask. It can be made through grinding two tablespoons of green tea into a fine powder and whipped yogurt, a small portion of essential oils and massage the pack on face and neck for a few minutes and wash it off with warm water. 

3. Turmeric and Besan Mask

Turmeric contains anti-inflammatory and relieving properties while besan (which is gram flour) is alkalizing in nature and tends to attract toxins that are logged deep into our skin pores. When mixed, they release antimicrobial properties that are very important to our skin. To make this pack, blend one tablespoon of gram flour with a teaspoon of turmeric, and crush in the lemon drops and some rose water. You can then apply the pack on your face and let it dry off, wash it off with water for naturally healthy skin. 

4. Oatmeal Scrub and Papaya

Papayas are rich in antioxidants, which is a good source of Vitamin A and papain, which makes it work correctly for the skin. Raw papaya paste is excellent in fighting pimples and blemishes. 

This facemask can be made quickly through mashing a slice of papaya, add a teaspoon of brown sugar and oatmeal. You can apply and massage your face with it in a circular motion for a cleansed and shiny skin. 

5. Egg and Oatmeal Mask

Naturally, Oats are rich in fibers and are known to heal skin ailments like blemishes and acne. 

To make this facemask, mix in three tablespoons of oatmeal, a tablespoon of curd and honey and combine to make a paste. Apply on a cleansed face, let it dry for a few minutes and wash off. It is a very useful facemask for glowing skin.

6. Sandalwood Face Mask

Sandalwood is one of the oldest and most trusted face mask for a glowing skin. It is renowned for working correctly on blackheads, acne and skin eruption and also works miraculously on dry skin. It can be made quickly through mixing a tablespoon of sandalwood powder with rose flower and letting it sit on your skin for a while.
