Are you excited for the upcoming 4th of July holiday? I know I sure am, we’re still planning everything, but we’re planning on having a little get together here with family and friends. Which means, I need to start thinking about what everyone is going to eat. I love this recipe for upside down lemon meringues. They seem like the perfect summer dessert, don’t you think?
The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! I feel blessed to be an American, and I’m thankful for all the brave men and women who have played a part in making America what it is today. What can I say I’m a proud American and love going all out on the 4th of July and spending the day with family and friends.
I generally make my Red, White, and Blueberry Trifle for the 4th of July, which I’ll probably still make, but I think I’m going to have to add the upside down lemon meringues too. Oh, and maybe even make them with food coloring, so they are fun and festive for the 4th of July. That would be so much fun, and they would look great.
How amazing does this upside down lemon meringues recipe look? I’m seriously in love and going to have to give this recipe a try. With the 4th of July sneaking up on us it’s time to start thinking about what you’ll be preparing for your gathering or to take along to a gathering. The upside down lemon meringues would be a great option. They are quick, easy, light and fluffy which, for me is perfect summer food!
