I grew up with beanbags, we had one or two in every room of our home. My older brother & sister have 10 years on me, needless to say, peace signs, fluorescent paint and of course bean bags were a big part of my life. They were a “big thing” back in those days being they were fairly new, only 5 years into production!! Here’s a bit of nostalgia for you, I recently found out that the original title/name for beanbags was “il Sacco”, Italian meaning the sack. It’s pear-shaped, filled with Styrofoam beads and still in production to this day. How awesome is that?? I still have my precious family memories, with all 5 of us kids, in the living room, in our own beanbag spending hours of quality time, reading, playing hot potato with a foam ball, musical beanbags, kicking back doing homework while listening to the radio and so much more. Good times!! This is why I’m excited about the product I received from Bean Bag Town!!
We Love Our 5′ Theater Sack Bean Bag From Bean Bag Town!
They sent me their Navy color, microsuede, 5” Theater Sack Bean Bag. I wasn’t home when the theater sack arrived. Boy, I’ll tell you it was a bit on the heavy side, ok that’s an understatement, it was extremely heavy!! lol.. My daughter & I rolled the box into our home, we could hardly wait to open it. We tugged, pulled and flipped the box to get the Theater Sack out with no success, my daughter tore back the sides of the box and “tah dah” it was out. We were both amazed at the huge, vacuum packed mass we had sitting in front of us, it was sealed tight with plastic wrap & clear tape. We cautiously removed the tape to reveal the large plastic bag it was in. Once we removed that, we saw the inner liner containing the foam. This is a fabric liner with a zipper especially designed to keep the foam from escaping all over the place when the microsuede cover is removed for cleaning. I have to say this fabulous inner lining is a life saver, without it stuff would be all over the place creating a huge mess, ingenious!!
How awesome is this liner?? I can clearly remember as a kid, whenever one of our beanbags would tear or start to leak, it looked like you could go skiing in our living room!! The biggest challenge we had setting up the Theater Sack Bean Bag was breaking up the vacuum sealed foam to “fluff it up”. All we had to do was place our hands on top of the Theater Bean Bag liner, push down, grab, pull, and twist to break up the foam. You can feel the foam breaking apart as your going along. We didn’t have to break up all the chunks, just enough to let air flow, it was really cool watching as it transformed into a super comfy lounger!! Within minutes we had the foam broken down enough to put the cover on. The Theater Sack Bean Bag can 3-4 days to become fully fluffed.
I can tell you by morning it had flourished to almost the average size!! It’s incredibly stylish, soft and as comfortable as can be. The 5’ Theater Sack Bean Bag Navy microsuede cover is exquisite, color is beautiful, so smooth, fashionable & stylish. Loving how it coordinates with every piece of furniture in my home.
The folks from Bean Bag Town use only the softest, shredded foam available. This shredded foam is similar to memory foam, it will not become flat or breakdown over time like the traditional been bags, always retaining it’s shape, providing us with the ultimate lounging experience.
My Niko, could hardly wait to flop down in his new beanbag! Just seeing the smile on his face, and the excitement in his eyes as he was climbing on, was priceless! I actually had him do a couple flop downs to help break up the shredded foam. You can clearly see how soft, and comfortable this Theater Sack Bean Bag from Bean Bag Town actually is, it ‘s like being surrounded in cotton!! I left the room for about 15 minutes, when I returned Niko had fallen asleep. Even my little “pup” Baxter had joined in on the nap, he was sleeping with Niko until I grabbed the camera, you can see his little tongue sticking out, way cute!!
We were all competing to see who was going to sit in the Theater Sack first, I wish you could have been here, you would have cracked up watching all of us nudging each other and saying “me first, no, me first” it was too comical!! The Theater Sack Bean Bag is now the “favorite” chair in our house! My Baxter, loves it too!!
