Why outdoor play for kids is so beneficial is because many of the developmental tasks that children need and must have like, gross & fine motor skills, exploring, risk taking and absorbing mounds of knowledge is done and learned through outdoor play. Slowly, outdoor play is being taken away from children by way of excessive computer use, watching too much TV, parents that are too tired or busy to go out to play with the kids. What’s even more alarming is, not only is this happening in our homes but also through the educational systems. Schools are eliminating recesses and dropping academic standards, taking precious time away from from our kids for outdoor play. With that being said, it all begins in the home. It’s up to us parents to be sure our kids have as much outdoor play as possible! This is why we love OgoSport!!

What I love is they formed the company to question the current direction of play for children. We were sent three of their super fun, active play, outdoor sport games designed for the whole family to have loads of fun! We received their Batapult, the Aero Zip Disc Single and the Ogo Beacher Activity Mat.
My Niko’s favorite of the three is the Aero Zip Disk. from first launch, he was hooked! This bad boy is super awesome! The Aero Zipp Disk’s from Ogo Sport is a uniquely designed catapult launcher, that allows you or your child to make long distance throws with ease. So simple to use, the snap-lock holds the disk at the perfect angle providing super long and straight throws. You should hear it whiz through the air and it really does go super duper far, up to 175 feet, with almost no effort at all!!
We have a lot of fun with the Batapult! Recommended for children ages 6+, This funky, hinged bat allows for super-power hits, sending the ball flying up to 200 ft. What’s super cool is the unique design moves the bat weight closer to the grip, making the bat feel lighter during the swing. Perfect for kids that may be practicing on raising their swing and batting averages. Niko loves being able to “hit it out of the ball park!” Fun, fun, fun!
The OgoSport Beacher Activity Mat is my favorite, the whole family can participate at one time, it’s great fun. The mat comes with a cute case for transporting and easy storage, 4 soakable balls and is made with lightweight, non-slip fabric that features a large colorful octagon print in the middle. Because it’s divided into eight sections with various colors, you can play lots of fun games. Hey, you can even stretch out on it after a long day of playing, lol. Niko & I had a blast with this Beacher Activity Mat at the park, we can hardly wait to take it to the beach and soak up the fun!!
I make it a point to take the kids out daily. Every weekend my grandson & I have our play date. Now that we have these wonderful active play toys from OgoSport, our outdoor time together just got that much more fun!
