My toddler is living proof that not all little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice. She is loud, boisterous, and destroys everything in her path. So when I shop for a new toy, I make sure it is durable enough for her aggressive nature. Unfortunately, this is not always easy as so many toys are flimsy and do not hold up to rough play. One toy that does stand up to her destructive nature is Rocking Monsters.
Rocking Monsters are wooden rocking toys that offer children an entertaining and safe play experience. The manufacturer uses only all natural products including non-toxic paints and stains. The toys also have rounded corners and they sand, polish, and coat the wood to prevent splinters and scratches. The designers have also balanced the toys according to weight and physical proportions to deliver the full benefits of rocking without tipping over.
Due to the plywood construction and steel fasteners, the toys are extremely durable to offer many years of riding fun. They have undergone rigorous testing by kids and even adults weighing around 150 pounds. While designed for children 3 feet tall, children of all sizes can enjoy them as long as it is comfortable. The Rocking Monsters kit includes 6 to 8 pieces, fasteners, tools, and instructions. Assembly is easy and should take no more than 5 to 10 minutes. Three amazing designs are available: Shark, Octopus, and Ghost.
We love our Rocking Monster for many reasons. It was easy to assemble and it only took around 7 minutes. The instructions were clear and the only issue was deciding on which direction to face the handle since only one side is painted. As soon as we had it together, we could tell how durable it was. This ride on toy is solid. Seriously. It is sturdy enough that I can even sit on it and not worry about it breaking. My boys (8) and (12) have even given it a try. Since it is heavy-duty, your child will not outgrow it anytime soon.
One of my favorite features is the design. It is definitely not your run of the mill rocking horse that every child has. We received the Ghost and everyone that visits asks us about it. They usually tell us how neat it is and ask where we got it because they have never seen it in a store. It is also apparent that the designers had safety in mind when creating these monsters. You can run your hand over the wood and feel how smooth it is. This is a big plus in my book because digging splinters out of a toddlers hand or foot is not my idea of a fun time.
If you want to give your little one an exciting, safe, and unique toy, look no further than Rocking Monsters. They have all the features moms love and it provides kids with hours of fun play.
The Kickstarter campaign launches December 5th, so be sure to check it out. With a $99 pledge, you will receive your very own Rocking Monster.
