I have always been an animal lover.  Ever since I was little we have had dogs, cats, chicken, ducks, horse, cows, goats, and even a deer.  Yes, a deer!  My dad found it on his morning drive into the mountains of Ruidoso, NM.  Poor little thing was almost dead, but we nursed it back to life and loved it like part of the family.  It’s really funny, she thought she was a dog for the longest time.  Our intention was never to keep her, but keep her until she eventually ran into other deer and she found her natural wild self.

That never happened, she was taken from us for chasing a car.  I told you she thought she was a dog, lol.  The sheriff’s department released her into the wild, but she came back.  It took her a week, but she found her way home.  Someone told the sheriff’s department and rather than letting her do her thing they placed her in a zoo.  I remember how heartbroken I was, she was supposed to be wild.  Not trapped in a zoo, and you know she would have eventually gone too.  She was already headed in that direction.

Ever since I was little I have loved animals of all shapes and sizes.  We currently have four dogs.  If you follow often you know they are:

1. Skittles the super sweet pit-bull that lets the girls dress him up in dresses.  You can see he hates it, but if it makes the kids happy he will do it.
2. Piper the yellow lab, man she is dingy.  So sweet I don’t know if she is smart enough to know how to be mean.
3. Noodles the Rotty, now talk about dumb.  Yes, she sure is but she is the sweetest, biggest baby you will ever meet.  One look into her little eyes and she has stolen your heart.
4. Sweetie Belle is all about my daughter Vayda.  She is the newest edition, and is all about Vayda.  Anything that makes Vayda happy makes her happy.

With such amazing animals comes responsibility for the whole family.  We have to take care of our pups that we love so much.  We treat our pups like family.
