Quick & Easy DIY Picture Frame Makeup Brush Holder

by Jenn

I recently received some beauty products that I ordered from Walmart.com!  While putting them up in my bathroom, I saw all my makeup brushes all over the place.  No wonder I can’t find them, but it helped me to come up with this Quick & Easy DIY Picture Frame Makeup Brush Holder that now keeps my brushes nice and organized and looks so much better than makeup brushes everywhere.  I wanted to share this easy DIY makeup brush holder project with you because it helped me get rid of an issue I have been dealing with for years.  I’m hoping it will help some of you get rid of the same darn makeup brush problem lol.

To make your Picture Makeup Brush Holder you will need the following:

  • Glass Jar
  • Photo
  • Something to put inside the jar that looks pretty – sand, rocks, I used clear plastic cubes.

  • Place your photo inside the glass jar, exactly where you want it.  Don’t’ worry if it isn’t pushed up against the sides completely yet it will once you put your transparent cubes or whatever you are using in.

  • Slowly pour clear cubes, sand, etc. into the jar.  Hold the jar so your photo is facing down.  You want to be sure and fill up behind the picture, so it pushes up against the glass as quickly as possible, so you don’t get anything between the photo and the glass.

  • Leave about  2 to 3 inches unfilled at the top and pushed your makeup brushes into the jar.

It should now hold them up and look fabulous!  Well, I can promise you it looks much better than makeup brushes laying all over the bathroom, and you’ll always know where they are.

I can’t complain, my brushes are up off the cabinet, sink, out of my makeup bag, and everywhere else I can never find them and placed on the cabinet next to the sink in a lovely picture frame glass jar that looks kind of cool, I think.

walmartAs I mentioned earlier, I received a bunch of beauty products I purchased from Walmart.com for the family.  Of course, I didn’t grab things like Herbal Essences conditioner and not get me anything lol.  I got everyone something, I think Vayda was the most excited because she got to try Olay® in Cooling White Strawberry, which I have to agree with her, it smells amazing.

For my hair, I got Herbal Essences Blowout Smooth Conditioner because I love the way it smells, and it works great.  I change up my hair often.  Some days I go for big girls and other days I just toss my hair into a ponytail, and the Herbal Essences Blowout Smooth works perfect for everything from big and bouncy to sleek and it leaves my hair feeling hydrated and silky smooth.

Since Mattie is so young I got her and Vayda some Herbal Essences Honey, I’m Strong Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner.  My youngest daughter got blessed with my hair, poor thing lol.  It isn’t exactly a blessing because it’s super picky about everything and if you don’t listen to it you’ll regret it when brushing.  Mattie is only five so every brushing is torture to her and I feel sorry for her because I remember being her age and crying.  My mom thought I was a baby lol, it really hurt.  Okay, maybe I was being a baby but still! It didn’t help that she bonked me on the head with the brush all the time lol.

walmart.comThe reason I picked the Honey, I’m Strong Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner because I know how great it works on my hair and if it works on my hair I know Mattie will appreciate it when we brush her hair too.  Plus, it leaves Vayda’s hair silky smooth and easy to manage too.  Herbal Essences is one of my favorite brands when it comes to keep our hair looking it’s best.

I also got my husband some Old Spice High Endurance Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Invisible Solid Fresh 3 ounce (2 pack) because he’s a man and I love the way Old Spice smells, it’s by far one of my favorites.  Lucky for me my husband tells me to choose whatever I like!  We end up with Old Spice most of the time, lol.

I love the manly, man smell that only Old spice has and my husband likes that it goes on clear and lasts all day long, even when he is working outside in the heat thanks to the wetness protection.

I love shopping online, and Walmart.com helps me to stay ahead of the game by ordering products my family needs at a reasonable price online and delivering them to my door.  Plus, when you visit BeautyYourFamilyTrusts.com you’ll find savings from some of your favorite beauty brands and when you spend $50 you get free shipping!  Can’t go wrong with free shipping!  Why go anywhere else?

With savings like that and all these fabulous beauty products, it’s no surprise I was motivated to do something bout my makeup brush problem right, lol.  Seriously, I love all the great products and my quick and easy DIY Photo Frame Makeup Brush Holder!  Needless to say, I’m one happy mommy!
